RED SEAL BETWEEN DRAIN PLUG AND THAT RELEASE BALL FOR OIL…?
Does the red seal in the drain plug go bad? And if so when; is there some warranty for it just in case? Or do we buy those separate and fix ourselves? I just got the item and I’m very excited to have no messes, but I noticed that and I’m just a little concerned if there’s a timeframe for when that red seal goes bad. I want to be ready because if I have to send the drain plug to go get fixed then I will have to use another drain plug for my car in the meantime, which I guess will be a hassle but I can deal with it. I’m super excited and it looks very well built, but I don’t want any accidental leaks. And also.. is the drain plug a little too long or am I an idiot? I don’t want to hit some speed bump and the drain plug get caught on something or whatnot and then have a dent or possibly a hole through my oil pan..

Did not fit
Most important is when it says "fits your 2001 Subaru outback" doesn't mean it does. Too large for my car.

Check with manufacturer before buying
Amazon’s This will fit your car” is wrong. Did not get to use it as the size was way off

Makes oil changes a piece of cake
Easy to install, and made my oil changes a piece of cake going forward. Clean & simple. Installed it on all of the family cars. If you change your own oil, it's a must have.

Oil Changes are Easy, Peasy
Haven't installed this yet. But it arrived ahead of schedule. Should save me $100's a year on oil changes due to the mileage I drive every year.
