Exactly what I wanted.
Was looking for a small pair for my grandson (7 months) all you find now are bulky plastic for safety (they say). I used a pair small one just like these for our daughter 32 years ago, still have them. So my daughter would come over and use them. So now she has her own, to use at her house!

My mom used these on me and still has them. They’re awesome!
I have tried every baby nail clipper on the market and couldn’t find anything I liked the way I liked the “vintage” ones at my moms house that she has had since I was a baby. I finally decided to search around and try to find the exact model she had- and found it here! They’re exactly the same and they’re awesome. Strong and sturdy and sharp.

You need to bring this when you go to the hospital to have the baby.
When you give birth, the nurses do NOT clip the baby's fingernails and not surprisingly, babies are not born manicured. They can scratch themselves, and I've seen another mothers newborn scratched up from his fingernails. My daughter, per my instructions, brought these to the hospital to clip my grandson's nails. She was shocked at how long his nails were and was grateful I was so insistent that she had them. She keeps a pair in the baby's room, the diaper bag, in her car and still has spares. I didn't think it was necessary that she have so many clippers, but having a bunch is definitely handy.

These work well but are very small.

It works and it feels safe
I don’t know what’s the secret but this clipper cuts well and is safe. Yes it’s a little small for adult hands but it feels safer and smoother than other brands we had. We had two safety first ones broke on us - husband injured our little one’s finger with one of them too ;(. We then replaced them with another safety first (Cos they’re cheap) and this Little Brand one and the difference is obvious. Yes, pay a few more bucks and get this.

These are the best for newborns and toddlers
These are hard to find, I used to use these on my kids. But now a days all you can find are ones thay jave plastic attached to them, way unsafe. Took me awhile to find these. Know I can actually cut my granddaughters nails. I'm not that old either lol
