Unfortunately, I was never able to get it to connect. Customer service was no where to be found. I have a cat who was able to figure out how to get more food from the other feeders, so that's why I bought this one. The feeder door closes. It is tall and sturdy, but I can't comment on how well it worked because it didn't work for me. There is no manual set up either, only Wi-Fi.

This feeder works really well so far. I have had no issues with it feeding my Akita’s. They really took to it pretty quickly. What I like the most is the amount of food it holds. 5 lbs of food, I have two feeders and I fill them once a week, which is awesome. The only thing that was a bit difficult was the wi-fi connection. It took some time to get it connected, but otherwise it is pretty awesome. The app is pretty cool with the ease of portion selection and times. I always check the app to make sure it fed properly. The drop down style paddle wheel works way better than the carousel style. I believe it was worth the money I spent. It has sure given me a bit more freedom from being home at a specific time every day along with my AutoSlide door system and ring cams. I can feed the let them out and keep an eye on them all with my phone. Pretty awesome.

This was one of the cheaper feeders I found that I could control from my phone. I like that you can also put batteries in the feeder as a backup for power outages. The app however is not user friendly and it took me a lot of time and curse words to get it connected to WiFi and to figure out how to schedule feeds verses sending a snack. Not so bad now that I’ve got the hang of it but there’s a definite lack of directions

Two months of use. Working great. Portions seem accurate and consistent. It does seem to have an issue staying on wifi, but I think that could be an interference issue in my apartment. It does a) automatically reconnect without my having to do anything and b) continue to dispense programmed meals even if it is offline. My guy is a slightly larger than average and more curious/persistent than average cat. There is no way he can get into the food storage compartment. I was worried about that with other units I saw before deciding on this one.

I was a little nervous to buy this from a third-party seller but it was legitimate and works great! Hard to say how durable it will be in the long run, but it looks great and the software is fairly intuitive. Easy to set the schedule and adjust portion size. And the design really is head and shoulders above most other feeders that look like they were designed in the 90s. I would definitely recommend this feeder if you want to automate your cat’s feeding schedule.

I like this product. It is the only self feeder that I have found that is able to handle my German Shepard’s Kibble. All of the others that I have tried will not disperse it. The only thing I wish it had was the voice recording option, but it doesn’t. It is a great product and the app works really well.

So easy to set up and use. My one cat did figure out how to use the "manual" feed button so just kept pushing it to overfill the tray until I noticed what was happening. Had to put packing tape over it.

I ordered this feeder after my Petnet feeder stopped working and that company went out of business. My new PETKIT feeder only took about 10 minutes to set up after it came out of the box. The app is intuitive and this seems like an awesome product so far. I’m hoping it continues working well and I get many years out of it.

Package did not include the power cable. I cannot power up the item to check if it works...
