Works Well, Great Value
I am using a bike on a trainer as a stationary bike, and wanted to keep track of the time and distance. This device looked like it fit the bill. Despite the negative reviews, it was only a $9 risk. I went through the installation and everything worked. Here are a few notes:* The instructions did not say this, but you need to also install a battery into the sensor. This came with 3 batteries. One for the display, one for the sensor, and a spare!* Since this was a stationary bike, I needed to put the sensor on the rear wheel. I had to try different locations for the sensor and the display, since they recommended to keep the distance between them at 60cm or less. This was a tall order. But I was able to figure out the best location and the angles to mount the sensor and display to get a reading at 80cm!Overall, I am happy with this purchase and it's a pretty great value at $9. I am getting a second one!

Such a great little device!
Installation was wicked easy. This thing is spot on too. It’s very small too!! Doesn’t get In the way of anything. I found a road with one of those radar’s that show you how fast you’re going and I just kept driving up to it at different speeds and according to that radar this little speedometer is accurate as hell.I just followed exactly what the directions said. I decided against using my wheel size and instead measured my wheel using the method that came with the directions. It was easy. I’ve noticed it will not work if the magnet on the spoke isn’t close enough to the magnet on the fork. It even has to be in the exact position as shown in the instructions. I had to put both the magnet on the spoke and the magnet on the fork at an angel in order to get them close enough to read my speed. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap way to keep an eye on their speed.I saw some bad reviews, and I can only imagine it boils down to human error. I only say this because I was having problems until I realized how important it was to follow the directions exactly as they’re written. I just wish the backlight would stay on for longer, it sucks ar night that I have to keep hitting the button to check my speed. And it shuts off quickly

reasonable price point
First off, you are buying a $15 bike computer. My two granddaughters enjoy riding with grandpa/grandma and after looking at several through Amazon.... as a surprise for girls, I bought this brand. I thought instructions were clear, gave good references to program the tire circumference and batteries were included along with an extra one. My only complaint... within less than a week, both spoke mounted (plastic) magnet holding brackets broke! I am fairly handy with a small hardware store within my shop so the solution of a 3/16" fender washer and non hardening lock-tight did the trick. The problem comes in when the plastic bracket gets bumped loading or un-loading te bikes...bam, broken plastic pieces. The fender washer allows a uniform draw against two crossing spokes which aligns the magnet as well.As a precaution I also used a small cable tie above the fender washer covering both spokes so the washer/magnet can't wiggle up the spokes. NOT SO TIGHT that you displace the spokes. Seems to have worked. With that said I am ordering two more for other granddaughters, I'll make the adaption for the spokes right from the start. As as I stated originally....$15.00 You get what you pay for, though if they last the season or more...worth it for me.

Hoped It Would Work
Most of these wireless speedometers get some good and bad ratings. Some may be due to incorrect installation. I tried this one as the price was good and it had many good reviews. 1st problem is setting the wheel diameter. I have roughly 20 inch wheels that calculate out to 1.575 meters circumference and that's what I used but it was registering way to fast. I adjusted the number down (.8m) and close to real mph. This was installed on an ebike on the handle bars it would not work with the ebike on (interference?). I then installed it on a cross beam closer to the wheel and it worked but gave erratic mph even with the ebike powered off jumping from 12mph to 4. Hope others have better luck but don't try on a 20inch ebike.

Won't fit all bikes
Product looked good on paper. However, when I tried to install magnet on wheel the magnet and receiver would not clear each other. Would not work on my road bike. Tried to call / get info from web site and all I could get was some type of reorder. No one was available to help with installing the unit as indicated on directions. Have installed over 6 on different bikes and this is only one that I was not able to install.

Liked This So Much That I Purchased Another
very nice odometer/speedometer, especially for the price. The main advantages are:1) Easy to read display2) You can reset the odometer after each trip (not all other brands have this feature)3) Accurate to 5 feet (yes, I noticed a .003 mile increment as I rolled my bike into my garage)4) Wireless connection between the sensor/transmitter and the display unit5) Each one came with an extra batteryConfiguring the "computer" as it is called can take some understanding, but once you figured it out, this is a very nice device. Note that it is important to minimize the distance between the magnet that goes on the spoke and the sensor unit. That is why I mounted the magnet near the center of the wheel.

Works for me
Put this on my Ancheer ebike to keep track of mileage. Installation was easy and I've got a tip for keeping the spoke magnet in place. Once I got it situated and working, I borrowed some nail polish and applied top and bottom. This was standard practice in industry when electronics had all kinds of trimmers and tweaks that you didn't want to move. Stays put, but can easily be chipped away if needed. Instructions were transliterated rather than translated, but better than most. Accuracy was good compared to GPS out of the box for my 26" mountain style bike. Has worked for about 300 miles so far. Display is kinda small, but works for what I want.
