Good first effort
I had originally been interested in buying a pair of Bose 700s, that is, until I read the reviews that indicated this product wasn’t ready for prime time. While poking around on Amazon, I ran across a section dealing with “up and coming” tech products. I wound up scouring through the offerings and finally settled on giving this pair of headphones a closer look. So, here goes my review, the good and not so good (no bad or ugly though).Like other reviewers have stated, this is a very well built product with some decent thought put into its development. The controls seemed fairly straightforward once you understood the setup of the rig. Battery life has been decent, given that I used it for two days before having to recharge the unit via the USB C port.I own a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 20s and the sound quality coming from this headset with the ANR turned on was about the same. You did get that extra bass boost (just like the Bose) and the midrange was a bit anemic (just like the Bose). I also own a pair of Boom Renegades which had a fuller sound than either of the ANR headsets when playing the same tracks for comparison purposes.The 3D effect is a nice touch, but still needs a little work. Turning your head should keep the sound in the same spot relative to the listener’s head. The sound eventually moves back into the same position which doesn’t happen when listening to a point source. Minor stuff, but if you’re going to do it right, then do it right.The pause/interrupt feature works as advertised in Bluetooth mode, but apparently is disabled when the headset is hardwired to a music source. There is one idiosyncrasy that does need to be fixed concerning the ANR feature. During pauses or quiet passages in the music, there was a kind of hiss akin to a white noise generator that was prevalent in the right channel. It seemed to come and go when I moved my hands over the mics on the earpieces. Besides that, there really wasn’t much to complain about.I do have to admit that for a first attempt, the folks at Shivr made their initial foray into the field a worthwhile venture. I’m giving it four stars, which for me says a lot. I would definitely recommend these based on features and price point.

Almost a 5-star product.
These cans sound great, look great, have a high-end look, feel, and build, and they come nicely equipped with a custom hard case, airplane adaptor, charging cord (USB-C), and headphone jack cord. The ANC, 3D effects, exterior lights, and auto-pause features are fun and/or practical, but they way they're executed aren't. When powered on, the default settings are always as follows: exterior lights on, the ANC on, and the 3D effects off. The device won't remember your last preferences. So to change these, which I always do, requires many, many steps and button presses. Also, the battery is rated at 20 hours playback, which is accurate, but many less expensive ANC wireless headphones have much more than that. Some even double that number. Those two inconveniences are the only reasons why they lose a star. The performance of the headphones, including the sound quality, connectivity, bluetooth range, ANC, comfort, and build are top notch and easily at the 5-star level.

The “Happy to Own” Headphones!
Where have these headphones been all my life! I really enjoyed my last pair of wired headphones due to their delayed ability and sound quality (mainly for movies and radio.com). However they broke down with age and needed to be replaced. I frequently travel, and have always wanted to own a pair with noise canceling ability, but couldn’t find anyone who soundly could tell me a certain brand and model were a “must buy”. This past Christmas, my wife took a chance and purchased me these as a gift. I lucked out, and absolutely love these headphones! The noise canceling renders almost every environment I’ve used them in, so quiet, I could hear a mouse! The clarity and comfort ability are the best I’ve ever had. I could wear these for days it seems, and not feel the need to take a break. The battery life has turned out to be amazing as well. When it comes to recharging, I would say from empty to full can be done in about 2 hours on a regular connection. One feature I really enjoy is the sensor that pauses whatever it is I’m listening to, when I take the headphones off. I never miss something with these on. Finally, I have to say how much I enjoy the case that comes with the headphones. It is slim enough to not take up much room, but can also hold all the cords and phones itself. Overall, these have been an amazing purchase, that I wouldn’t think twice of to do again. My travel time feels like it flies by with these beauties on my ears.

Great 3D stereo headphones - the sound is as though you are in the middle of the action!
Love the headphones and everything about them. They are noise canceling for the most part, but not perfect in that aspect, but still very very good! Comfort is amazing. Sound quality is outstanding. Battery life seems fine, but I don’t let them run out of battery completely anyway. Very happy with these headphones, and I look forward to using them each time. Phone calls work well too, forgot to mention that. Cool kit that comes with them, and love the case as well. Thumbs up - recommended!
