The Picture Book of Dogs: A Gift Book for Alzheimer's Patients and Seniors with Dementia (Picture Books - Animals)

A marvelous spirit-brightener for seniors of many levels of capability, particularly dog-lovers. While the lack of text may work well for some, my mom was disappointed (even put off at first) by the lack of captions identifying the breed of each featured dog. Would still highly recommend.

Very disappointed in this book. It is more of a pamphlet really with stock images of dogs. It is bound so that it is very difficult for those with dexterity issues to hold open let alone turn the pages. Dementia patients really need something that can open flat in front of them and that has dynamic photos. This was a real dud.

Good size pictures and simple. The man I bought it for is special needs and goes on overload if to much writing about pictures. He basically likes “picture books). This was perfect

I bought this for my father’s birthday he’s 90 years old with dementia. The pictures are large with only titles above each dog. Each dog has their own page which makes it very easy for him to see. A good book

This book is so cute and I just know my Alzheimer patient is gonna love it.
