Amazon Lights All-Natural Premium Citronella Outdoor Garden Incense Sticks with 2.5-3.0 Hour Burn Time (1)

Have read a just a few negative reviews, in reply to ALL of those reviews that the writer contends Amazon Lights mosquito sticks are useless, perhaps you aren’t utilizing them correctly. I’ve used them when I garden for a number of years and they’re fantastic in keeping me free from mosquito bites. I live in SE Va at the mouth of the Cheasapeake Bay. Amazon Lights repellent sticks are exactly like incense, takes a moment longer to light them. Once lit, blow the flame out, see which way the breeze carries the smoke. Place the stick into the the ground or a container near where you’re working. Make sure the incense smoke is reaching the area around you. Usually I’m a magnet for mosquitoes, haven’t had any bites since using these repellent sticks.

Incense is a great idea since it rides the wind and disperses more effectly than a candle. Only problem is that it is so strong it's can chase away some guest as well. Very effect insect repellent, semi effective people repellent. Good buy for me either way.

Writing my 3rd review for these. We have tried at least 3 other products similar to this( they are sold out a lot and we have to find something else). These by far are superior. They do not have a strong odor, they repel bugs very well. We live in NOVA with a wooded area behind us where mosquitos are a plenty in the summer. I strongly recommend these to anyone who has a mosquito issue and would like to sit outside in the evening.

I live in Orlando, FL and these simply work and that's all you need to know. I will buy these endlessly as long as I live here. Oh and I have 2 lakes near me and so far so good. Enjoy!

My first review indicated: can't determine if iit works since none burn longer than a minute. Tried 3 so far and no luck. Not even a windy day.UPDATE to initial review:I am now updating my review! A representative from Mint Julep reached out with both a call and follow up email. He stood by his product and offered to replace mine for no charge. I have received the new sticks and had no problem at all! I tried one immediately upon receipt and loved it! I plan to order more! Not only is is a great product, but you can't beat the customer service.

These smell great and keep the bugs away. They were shorter than I had expected and I had to improvise to find a place to put them. As the photo shows, a few pots filled with sand will do the trick. I used a metal lantern and an old rusty milk can, and those worked too, but to add a little more decorative feel, I would get pots and fill them with sand. You will love these!!

As I stood there in the smoke I was bit three times in two minutes!!! Yes I'm a mosquito magnet either way but I did not see a difference.

I can't believe this stuff actual works.I was a die hard OFF! lantern user...they are the ONLY thing that has ever worked perfectly in the battle against backyard mosquitoes... but they discontinued them (and the pads)... the new OFF! lanterns suck, pure and simple... they do nothing.I saw these on Amazon, noticed the relatively good reviews and decided to give them a shot. The price seemed a bit high, but ultimately the price per stick is the same, or a bit less, when compared to one of the old OFF! pads. We gave them a shot at the july 4th picnic. About an hour in we noticed there had been no mosquitoes... none. Since then, we've noticed a few blood suckers here and there... but not many... very few.So while I wouldn't say that this is exactly on par with the old OFF! lantern pads, it sure is close... and certainly better than the new OFF! lanterns or anything else I've tried to date.We may keep looking for a perfect solution, but we're are happy with the effectiveness of these guys!
