Black light is a great feature. Helped locate/identify scorpions in the sand while desert camping. It would be nice if there were a red light feature as well (doesn't attract bugs).

The media could not be loaded.  The quality, ease of use, and functionality are excellent. Plus, two headlamps are included for the low, low price! I used the black light option and flat-back millipedes glow like stars in my yard! I’m sure it would work great for scorpions too.

A 2pk for the price was well worth it. I like that batteries were included, although they did not last long. Very light weight

Bright “black” light and white light. A rechargeable version would be great, and the off-on button could be a little more prominent to be easier to feel without taking the light off of your head to change modes, but it is still a great headlight

This is a set of 2 headlamps. The lamps consist of a plastic body mounted on a 1” wide elastic headband that goes around and over your head. Each lamp body has a single button on the top that cycles through UV/steady white/flashing white/off. The lamps are powered by AAA batteries, 3 each; batteries are included. The lights were made in China.I like the way the headband on these lights fits my head. It makes for a good snug fit that seems to work better than other headlamps that I have tried. Perhaps that’s because these lights are so light weight that they don’t weigh down the front of the headband. On the other hand, all of the other headlamps that I have tried are much, much brighter. Each of these headlamps provides about the same amount of light as a single candle. Enough to walk around in the dark if you know your way, but not enough to look for anything. The UV is simply too dim to be useful for any purposes, especially when mounted on the headband. You need to hold it within 2-3 of a surface in order to use it to highlight objects that glow under UV. So unless you’re crawling on your belly on the ground, you’re not going to find much with it. Also, it’s most secure when pointed up, but you’re not going to see UV objects up in the air. And you really don’t want to be pointing even this UV light around where it would shine into other people’s eyes since UV light is harmful. At best, these lights are toys, but you can’t give a UV light to a kid since they don’t recognize the danger of pointing it in people’s faces. In any case, the headband fits well.

There are much better head lights in the market, and at a better price. Luminosity is weak. The colored light is useless - I don't know why it's even an optional setting.
