Springfield Wood Grain Indoor Thermometer, Brown

I attached this thermometer to my bedroom wall and it is performing well. I gave it a four star rating because it is very light making it easy to detach from the wall if it is brushed against. I wish it was a bit heavier but this is a minor complaint.Otherwise, it appears to accurately measure the temperature and I like how it looks.I would buy this thermometer again if I need to.

I was for a thermometer that is small and accurate. This one does the trick and it's easy to read. I tested its accuracy against another glass thermometer and a digital thermometer - this one read exactly like the two reference thermometers. Another feature helpful to me is the dual scales, C & F. Great for a quick reference! This thermometer is very light and mounting is accomplished by using a small nail or screw to hang it from. The frame constructed of plastic.

I have a cabin that has a dark hallway where the thermostat is that makes it hard to read. I needed a thermometer that is easier to see that I could place closer to a light source so this little plastic thermometer was just the ticket. Its light enough to be easily hung and just the right size to be easily read. I took one star away just because the plastic seems to be a little thin but I think in the long run that probably will not matter.

This is a very exact thermometer and it looks fantastic as well. I bought it because there's a tremendous heat differential in an extremely large classroom in which I teach students with learning disabilities. The classroom is large enough to accommodate 10 teachers, but the problem is that the entire room is heated very unevenly. I needed a thermometer that was very accurate to document the temperature in the coldest part of the room (60 degrees on a continuous basis where my computer and learning station are) to get some work done on equalizing the temperature of the room. It is doing a stupendous job of measuring the temperature and responds very quickly when I move it from one area to another. Great product. I'd buy it again if I needed to do so and recommend it highly.

As far as being a thermostat, it does the job. But it is not wood grain and is made with flimsy plastic. Though it was only 8.99, so I got what i paid for. But the wood is a lie.

More trustworthy than the digital thermometers

The item has been described falsely as "wood grain" - there is neither wood nor any wood grain. It is made of cheap moulded plastic, and the thermometer bulb itself is so badly moulded that the fluid does not expand uniformly. Since the pandemic makes it difficult to return, I have discarded the item and counted the money as lost.

I bought 4 of these. They all show consistent and accurate temperature values (tested against each other and also compared to a more expensive electric thermometer). The frame is plastic and wood-colored, not actual wood. Simple little notch on the back so it can be hung from a nail. Not much more to be said...It's a thermometer, and it works just fine.

The readings on this thermometer are inaccurate. I compared the readings to that of another digital thermometer I purchased through Amazon, and for sure, this little thermometer does not offer the right temperatures. Total waste of money.
