FETY Series 3.0 Magic Fabric ShaverThis one is great in most ways. It's good to go straight from the box. I didn't have to pre charge it in order to use it. In less than 5 minutes, I had my sweater done and it got even more lint balls than I thought there was. One of the pictures shows what was in the 'bin' which surprised me.There are a number of bonus items this shaver does. For instance it works on furniture, sheets, blankets, comforters, duvets, clothing of all types, plush toys, curtains and drapes. You can also adjust the handle as it has a 180 degree rotating handle so you can adjust it to what suits you best.It comes with a storage bag, cleaning brush and 2 replacement shaving heads so you are good to go for possibly years. The cord is USB so it can charge easy. The battery will run an hour. A dead battery will charge in 2 hours and the built in cutter heads can be rinsed with water but let completely dry before putting back in.It's rating is: 50HZ and Voltage is: 3.7VDC.The only real problem we had was getting the lint bin off to empty it. It took 2 of us working on it as the first few times you press on and hold the ridged spots on it and pull, it doesn't want to come off easily as it's a real snug fit. It was hard to get off. After we got it off and I got all the pictures, I took it off and off several times, each being easier.Those with little hand strength will want to have someone loosen it up so you can get so you can do it yourself. Doing so is well worth the effort because this is a great all around shaver.

I resell all my children's clothing. I've been through lots of fabric shavers and wish I had spent the $30 for this one a long time ago! I have used several times now and never had a problem with it losing power. I'm just sure to charge after a few uses. I also find it comfortable to use. The lint canister is hard to figure out how to remove. It take a few tries.This works great on all types of piling and wash wear! Especially those kids pajamas that pil so terribly. I have not yet put any holes in the clothing as I have with my other shavers!

If you receive a flier in the mail from this company claiming they'll email you a $10 Amazon gift card in exchange for a review, IT'S A SCAM. They have very detailed directions for emailing a screenshot of your review, etc to a provided email address, but you'll receive no response. The shaver was alright, my review is honest, but it wasn't SO good that I would have written a review without the incentive.---------------------------------------------I purchased this after receiving a throw blanket that pills and sheds way too much; I tried running it through the wash and it got worse. This shaver did the trick. It took a little while since it's probably intended for smaller items and you have to keep dumping the fuzz/lint as it gets backed up. Removing the compartment for emptying took a little doing, but once you figure it out, it's easy enough. I used it on our couch fabric pilling as well and it worked like a charm! I'd recommend this product, especially for furniture or clothing.

Usually, we caused some damage to the item and never really removed all of them. That problem is now in the past. We spent a bit more for this shaver and boy, was it worth every penny! Removes any such imperfection almost instantly and makes clothing look almost new again. Extremely fast pill removal and long battery life. We have used it on coats, sweaters, and even some socks! Everything came out looking great with almost no effort. The shaver is lightweight, and the instructions are very clear. Only very minor issue is emptying the shavings bin. A bit difficult to remove at first. But by following the instructions on how to properly hold the shaver when removing it, that problem is gone. I would highly recommend this shaver to anyone who has struggled with trying to keep expensive sweaters looking good. I suspect this will be the last shaver I'll ever have to buy! Outstanding product!

I recently ordered a defuzzer from a more well-known brand. This other defuzzer was designed very well, other than the fact that it didn't actually work (!)Then I got the FETY defuzzer. It works, on the same sweater I didn't have luck with using my last defuzzer.That's the main reason for the 5 star rating. It actually works. It restored my sweater to being useable again.Other nice thing: It's rechargable, and you can use it while it's plugged in.It has a nice smooth-touch matte finish. It comes with a bag, 2 extra blades, and a cleaning brush.Cons:* As you can see in the picture, the USB charging cable is not a standard USB cable on the end that plugs in to the defuzzer. WHY!!! Note to designers: please use non-proprietary cables. It will be easier for the manufacturer as well.* The lint compartment (at least in the beginning) is VERY tight and hard to remove. However, it's nice and large, so you don't have to remove it often.

1st peoduct review on Amazon (I believe) after over 15 years as a customer. This fabric shaver is the most remarkable product (from an expectation vs reality perspective) I have stumbled upon since the iPhone 3g--said without hyperbole.Whatever your expectations are going in, they will be greatly exceeded. I opened mine up and, out of the box, started shaving an old favorite sweater. I did the front and back of the sleeve you see on the right in about 30 seconds. 30 SECONDS!!!! My beloved never looked so good.The Fety Series 3.0 feels intuitive in the hand, is relatively quiet and gets down to the busi ess of renewing without having to use undue force.A really, really, REALLY excellent product every home needs.[I have not recieved, and would/will refuse, any compensation for this or any other product.]
