New Practical Chinese Reader Vol. 1 (3rd Ed.): Workbook (W/MP3) (English and Chinese Edition) Paperback – October 30, 2015

This workbook gives a fair amount of practice, both in listening and reading Mandarin. I needed to refer back to the textbook repeatedly in order to answer the questions.

Delivery of this book is much earlier than I expected. Received in good form. Thanks a lot.

When it comes to learning Chinese, I would suggest this book first and foremost.

The book is very good, but figuring out how the audio segments match up needs to be more clear. The entire class was confused.

Funny stories once you get to understand

I bought this book hoping that I could pick up some mandarin. However, the book is not super engaging by itself, and if you don’t have any foundation of the pinyin system, you are guaranteed to sound completely off. I have to ask someone to read it loud for me. I would not recommend it to self learners that don’t have other access to Chinese learning.

Man muss halt so fleissig sein wie ein Chinese, sonst wird das nichts mit dem chinesisch lernen. Aber das sind auf jeden Fall die richtigen Bücher dazu

Insegno cinese in un corso ( adulti / ragazzi) e trovo che questo testo sia tra i migliori in circolazione per chi inizia a studiare cinese.Purtroppo le tracce audio del CD (incluso) sono molto confuse e non si capisce in che ordine siano diposte.

My boyfriend uses this to learn Chinese, very good book

The website doesn't open up properly and I am unable to access the audio files. The book itself without audio support is of no use. The book did not come with CDs so there's no other way to get the mp3's.
