Pretty but a little shaky
These look great in my bedroom which is decorated in an inspired-by-art-deco style. They sit on each side of the bed behind a nightstand, next to the quilted headboard, and in front of a heavily curtained window. In this case, they are sturdy enough because neither we nor the dog walk around them. If they were free standing and not close to a wall or other sturdy furniture they would wobble. They were easy to put together but I had to finagle them a bit to make them straight. They were packaged well and the base is sturdy. It's just the pipe tube that is thin in comparison to the lampshade. The shade is lightweight as well and easy to dust with a feather duster. Overall, they're a good value for my money and specific style needs.

Nice retro look - as represented
Nice looking, easy to assemble - base is very heavy but the upright part is made of thin material and bends easily and looks crooked until you work with it a while to get it perfectly straight. I cannot decide if I think it looks cheap or not - overall look is good - would need a larger LED light or something to put out more light without going over the recommended wattage - not very bright as is.

Stylish but imperfect
I love the style of the lamp so much that I purchased two of them. However, there is a mar on the base of both of them. Each has a long white stripe that appears to be a crack, but isn’t, running across the entire black surface.

Beautiful Mid-Century Modern Lamp
Perfect fit for my mid-century modern decor. Post connecting the base and light source is thin and not sturdy. However, as long as it’s in a home where the lamp will not be touched or moved much, you should be fine.

Love it! A thicker pole would improve it.
Can't get more mid century modern than this lamp! The pole could be thicker -- otherwise spectacular. The shade and black marble base make this lamp well worth the price.

Scratches and glue residue throughout product.
Item’s paint brushed. It look pretty cheap and the base it fulls of glue residue and scratches.Sending it back.

Buy two of these
The lamp is tall with a solid base. The links connected well together and it’s mid century modern style is a great talking piece. I’m pleased with it so far. If I could change one thing, I’d prefer that the switch be closer to the top of the lamp instead of the floor switch.
