Perfect for my OATLY Barista Blend Oat Milk Cafe Mochas!
As a vegan, I don't do dairy. So I was concerned that my options were limited when it comes to "Milk" frothers. I am happily surprised. I used the heavy froth setting and my oat milk came out great. The first time I did 1x cycle. The next, I ran it 3x and love the results (see photo). This frother works great with oat milk. I can finally make cafe mocha's at home without buying a big bulky espresso machine or ordering subpar cafe mocha's from my local coffee shop.Easy to clean. Simple to use. I'm a fan!

I've Owned a LOT of Milk Frothers and They've All Sucked
I ordered this milk frother because it's sub-freezing here in the PNW very early this year, and my cold brew just doesn't cut it through the winter, but with Starbucks LITERALLY a block away, just pouring heated milk in wasn't going to fulfill my latte desires. I'm also way too lazy to sit and whisk at the side of the oven just for coffee every morning.I've owned a lot of frothers in my day, and every single one of them has failed to create any sort of foam that actually stood on its own, they usually got a burnt half-moon of milk at the bottom of the frother, and the milk was never hot enough to get me through a full coffee. I have to say that I was ready to return this one too, if it showed these signs - like literally had my order up on Amazon waiting for my decision on whether the reviews were true or not.Color me surprised when I was presented with a foamy cup of warm milk a few minutes after hitting the foam button. No burnt circle at the bottom, either, and the whisk seems a little more determined than some of your budget foamers. Not bad! I will, certainly, update this review if any of these signs appear, but I'm currently enjoying a nice, hot latte and watching the frost sparkle outside. Also, one of my favorite features of this foamer is that it's actually independent from the corded base. It makes it a lot easier to lift and pour as well as to clean. Very smart design. The automatic shut-off is nice, too, considering I get distracted by tiny humans every three minutes or so. Well done!

AVOID - Horrible Quality Control
I am really disappointed. I really wanted to like this frother. I like the design and I felt pretty good about the reviews for it. Not to mention the company seems fairly responsive. Fast forward to my SECOND one and now I just want a refund. My first one didn't work out of the box. It would turn on, it would spin really quietly with a high-pitch whine and end. The milk was warm and a little fizzy. That's it. It was a $40 milk heater. So I decided to request a replacement.I got the replacement about two weeks ago and I've used it a few times each week. It worked great and I was so happy. I thought I must've just gotten unlucky and it'd be smooth sailing from here. Nope. It's doing the exact same thing again. It turns on, quieter than normal, accompanied by the same high pitch whine, and runs for way less time.Unless I can get a solution specific to my problem I'm gonna be returning it and I'm not gambling on a third one. I suspect the over abundance of 5-star reviews has to do with the giftcard offer they send out to buyers for a review...

Easy to use and clean
We were using a basic handheld frother that, to be honest, worked and still works fine... but I wanted to get my wife something for her birthday that 1.) she wouldn't have purchased for herself and 2.) would make some portion of her day a little bit easier, and this fit that bill. I do like that there are no longer batteries involved and that the base conveniently sits on the counter with the cable tucked away behind the toaster, separating form the unit when you pour. The multiple modes are nice for a set-and-forget once you figure them out - check the manual. You have to watch the levels of liquid pretty closely - one benefit of the hand brother was that you could mix any level by manually raising or lowering it... but otherwise this was a good upgrade.Btw, this froths Almond Breeze almond milk perfectly.

makes perfect frothed milk for my coffee
Everyone in the house has been using this little machine and it's been working out great for all of us.The foam is always creamy and smooth. It suggests using whole fat milk, but I've had no issues using non-fat or 2% milk to make foam. The machine runs so quietly - the sound of my coffee brewing into my mug is louder than it. Although it doesn't have a handle, I was able to easily grip the sides and pour the milk/foam directly into my mug. It's really easy to clean up. I once left cleanup until after having a quick breakfast and the milk wiped right off.It comes with an additional whisk and a small cleaning brush. The additional whisk is clipped to the lid making storage of it really convenient since you don't have to worry about finding a place to put such a tiny item without forgetting about it or losing it.It comes with 4 modes, 3 of which heat up your milk or create foam - these options make for great foam with a smooth texture. It's not that great on frothing on the cold milk setting because it does become bubbly in texture after about 10 seconds, but for iced coffees I add milk straight from the container so it isn't an issue for me. The hot milk options work out great though. It's a thumbs up from everyone in this household.

DO NOT BUY. ALMOST BURNT MY HOUSE DOWN.
This stopped working almost immediately. The buttons started doing whatever they wanted, it would auto turn on to whatever setting when placed on the base. I’ve done everything per instructions. Today I came home to the smell of fire. My milk frother had turned itself on after hours of having it placed there - when I wasn’t home. With the little milk residue left, it clearly started its own fire. I’m disturbed and so upset. You are allowed to dock this device. It should NOT TURN ON ON ITS OWN. I’m lucky my house didn’t burn down.

Froths oat milk
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Love this! If you use plant based milk, I’ve had the best luck with oat milk as shown in the video. Almond milk didn’t froth in this. It takes up little counter space which I appreciate. I wish the milk/froth was a bit warmer because I like my drinks extra hot, but overall this is a great product and I would recommend it.

Impressed!
Who knew I needed a milk frother?Recently I've cut back on coffee, I only drink it weekends when hubby makes it. During the week I drink chai or Mexican hot chocolate and love it all milky. I'd been heating milk in a pan to melt the Mexican chocolate chunks and then came across this wondrous little device. There was another, with equal stars, slightly less $$ but I liked how sleek and small this is.It came in two days.SO EASY to use, there are four functions; I want rich foam and hot milk, so I press the button once.Within a minute it's ready: super quiet, easy to clean (rinse with warm running water inside the chamber immediately after use, and the cap), takes no time and here you have a fantastic foam (images).FYI: In this image I used a plant-based coconut milk and plant-based half coconut creamer and I get an awesome firm froth. If I use only the plant-based coconut milk (it's pretty watery stuff) I don't get this nice of foam. So the creamer with extra fat def works better. I'm going to try Oat milk next week, as I've heard it foams well!Only one downside, as I like a lot of milk (more latte than cap) I have to whip up a second bath so I can share with hubby and have half my cup filled with milk and foam. The milk gets hot! Hot enough to melt my chocolate when I pour it over the chunk in my cup.

Only works for a few months
This was the best frother I ever bought....for 3 months. It is the second one I bought because it did such a great job frothing any milk or cream. But both stopped working around 3 months. The cream now just gets slightly warm and bubbles. I have tried to contact the company and amazon and they both say that I have to speak to the company in Canada that sells it. That information is nowhere to be found. The warranty was for 90 days and I was unable to find the name or number of the company who sells it in Canada so my warranty has now expired. This is a great frother but I don’t want to pay $60 every three months for one.

AWESOME FROTH (my mistake earlier- read below)
UPDATE: Same day. Mea culpa. I did some research and realized that organic milk (especially with grass-fed cows) does not froth well. Lesson learned. My Barista-Edition oatmilk frothed amazingly!! Thanks Miroco!
