Tomo-chan is a Girl! Vol. 6

Misuzu the matchmaker
Tomo-chan is a Girl! continues its great mix of the warm and the funny. This time, Misuzu takes on the job of bringing Carol and Kousuke closer together. Her methods are interesting but it's like imagining Ann Coulter being in charge of a sensitive diplomatic mission. The other major story is a flashback to Tomo, Jun and Misuzu in junior high as Jun realizes for the first time that his pal Tomo is in fact, a girl. At one point, he decides to try dating Misuzu (oh dear). Let's just say that Jun certainly has a way of creating situations for himself with the opposite sex. Tomo-chan is a Girl! continues to be a fine teenage romantic comedy.

Hmm... more hints on Misuzu's part. Could it really be that she...?
So. Tomo & Jun are growing, yet not the way either wants. She gets flustered, he gets shy & nervous. And Misuzu seems to like it that way. And what about Carol? What is she REALLY up to? Hmm, interesting, indeed! Art, excellent. Dialogue, very real. Characters, believable, likeable, relatable.
