SAILOR 1911 Profit Junior Kurogane Demonstrator Fountain Pen

I've been using this pen for over a month. I'm new to the fountain pen world so my experience is of a novice. I really enjoy writing with this pen. It's not as fine as a Pilot or Platinum Fine but the lines are crisp and clean even on cheap paper. I would say the nib is about the same as a .4mm line. The pen feels light but sturdy in the hands and because I have smaller hands I post the cap so the length is perfect for me. I've used this pen on Claire Fontaine, 90+ gsm (not meant for FP), and on every day office printer paper and all came out beautiful. I use the ink cartridge that it came with. My hand does not feel tired or cramped after an hour or more writing sessions. Even though it's a demonstrator pen, the darker shade makes it look more elegant than a clear demonstrator pen. The metal detail makes it look impressive and professional. This is one of my favorite pens to write with.

This Sailor pen writes very smoothly. I own Pelikan, Conklin,Parker, Schaeffer and Waterman and discovered this fountain pen is as good or better writing than those other brands I own. The plastic feels like a higher quality material. The gold trim looks very nice. Above all it writes very smoothly. It is a smaller pen but when posted it is very comfortable to write with. The lightness of this pen doesn't distract from the smoothness of how well it writes. I am very impressed with this Sailor pen. I decided to forego the included converter and to go with cartridges instead.

Instead of the product in the picture with gold trim I received a basic black pen. Deceived, even though the pen itself is good, expecting a specific style of pen and not getting it.

This fountain pen immediately becomes my favorite. The nib is smooth, the converter is a plus, the transparent body is stylish and easy to see the level of ink. Then I found a crack on the lower barrel, it’s slowly leaking.

Writes better than expected! Sailor quality evident for an excellent price.

Excelente utensilio de escritura. Es Sailor. Incluye converidor y dos cartuchos de tinta , creo que negra. Punto F, casi EF. Llegó antes de tiempo y perfectamente embalada.
