LUNATech, Sportsman Field Light, 1000 Lumens, Waterproof, Swivel Magnetic Base, Belt Clip, Includes USB Charging Cord & Adapter

Was looking for a rechargeable light for my work and found this amazing gem and ordered one right away and quickly thought it was the best compact rechargeable flood light on the market. The versatility from the built in stand and magnet are exceptional. The light is extremely bright on high and all around works well. However when I went back to purchase several more I noticed the price went up to $105 the first time I purchased this light it was $9 and the second time it was $12 I saw it went down to $30 so I grabbed another at that price. However at 105 you're starting to get in the territory of pro tool brands which are going to be outputting 2-5x the light at a similar size and you'll get virtually unlimited run time as most you can use corded or cordless. At $20-30 this is an excellent value and worth every penny. Do not spend $105 on this light. I'm not sure why luna tech is moving the price in this way but it is a little disappointing when seeing they make such a great product.

Just what I needed

This compact flourescent-green light came with a sturdy charger and a little booklet I mistook for an instruction manual. It contained page after page of dire warnings but nothing constructive as per how to use (although its actually a no brainer, a few illustrations would have been helpful.)However I WAS mightily impressed by this Mighty Mite. Although i do have other sources of usb charged auxiliary lights, this one is a veritable bright sun of a floodlight. It charges fairly quickly and puts out a very bright light that more than adequately illuminates a forest thicket as well as my poorly lit rented garage (no electricity) when i work on my car. The price is very reasonable, and im very happy with the results I get with this light. A row of just 2 or 3 of these lights "mounted" on a strip will be a tremendous help when i work on my engine in my otherwise dark garage.

This Luna Tech Sportsman Field Light is built like a tank, and is REALLY bright. There seems to be a "low" and a "high" setting for it, but both are VERY bright, considering the size of this thing. I'm used to having to lug around really heavy, chunky, huge spotlight-type lights to get the same effect as this little ol' thing, so I'm pretty pleased.There's a sturdy, adjustable handle that you can position in any direction you want. It's magnetic, so you can dangle it from your car hood wherever you want, or place it anywhere on metal. It attaches firmly to it. I actually stick it on the side of my fridge during non-use, so I won't lose it.Mine came fully charged already, straight out of the box. There was a small taped thing that I had to remove first before pushing the power button, but that was as complicated as it got, as far as operation. The only other thing you have to do is charge it when the battery dies, and the charger is included.This appears to be waterproof, and there are flaps to cover the port. It's rock-solid and thick, and I can't imagine it breaking or coming apart in the near future, that's for sure.In the dark, this lights up a VERY wide radius quite brightly. I like this aspect of it, as we live in a rural area on top of a hill/mountain, and my husband is away for work sometimes weeks at a time. We get a lot of wildlife and such where we live, so if I hear a bump in the night, I can quickly turn this on and see what the heck is out there in a flash.This makes an excellent camping light, as well as using it for fixing cars, too. We sometimes get electrical outages a couple times a year, so this is also perfect for having on hand for that and other emergencies.Overall, the quality can't be beat, and it's extremely versatile...especially considering you will be able to use it in poor weather conditions, as well. This definitely deserves all five stars - I'd give it ten, if I could! Excellent and super handy, bright light!

I REALLY like this field light!This lamp has a well thought out & unique design which incorporate allot of features that prove to be quite handy....First off - It is very bright!2nd - Good size, not too big or small3rd - Looks pretty cool actually :)4th - Built in rechargeable batteries that charge quickly via USB5th - 2 light modes.... on/bright & on/low - then off, there is no "emergency mode" thank goodness! I really do not like the flashing red light mode allot/most lights have nowadays...6th - I like the handle that swivels & allows you to set it at whatever angle is best..... very usefull.7th - And the magnets in the handle are very handy :)8th - I like the belt clip... great Idea!This field lamp is awesome..... Luna Tech packed allot into the Sportsman, so much so it "outshines" the competition...I will definately be picking up a couple more....It occured to me....to make this the product the perfect camping companion, Luna Tech needs to incorperate a motion sensor mode into it.... & sell them in a discounted 4 pack bundle.Reason.... If these lights were equiped with motion activation, you could surround your tent at night with them.... placing one on each side of the tent facing outwards.... so that if/when something/someone were to approch your tent in the middle of the night, the lights would turn on & perhaps beep to wake you....IMO that would be really great! .... as, you are very vulnerable when out in the woods at night laying on your back, in nothing but a little tent that you cannot see out of.....8th- This lamp has a rubberized "bumper guard" that surrounds the face of the light.9th - Last but not least.... this field lamp is highly water resistant, so no worries if it gets wet.This Luna Tech Field Lamp has fast become a favored light, it is user friendly, bright & is easy to find when I need it thanks to it's "big eye" that catches your eye :)IMO this Field Light deserves a Quality Product Recommendation and.....a 5 Star Rating
