Not secure
Can't give it zero stars so one will have do. The reason is because it would not stay latched. I will upload photos later but for now I can tell you the latch arm will drop over time and immediately if you make a mistake and try to close it with the latch in the UP position. When you do this the latch arm is forced down and the door will not fully lock. The insidious thing is that you can close and lock the door then walk away you will never know it is not secure. You could open, close, lock and unlock many times but if you don't jiggle the door to test it you will never know until the bad guys invade your home. You can clearly see in the problem in the photo. The latch arm does not fit tightly in the slot. I pushed it up in the top photo and it works fine. The bottom show what happens if the door is closed with the latch arm up. It forces the arm down and all you have to do is jiggle the door or lift up slightly and your in.This is a manufacturing problem not a design flaw. All they need to do is make the latch arm fit EXACTLY in the slot so it will not move. I am a licensed builder so I do know how to install the lock. I cannot recommend this to anyone unless you put a board, pipe or tube behind the closed door for security
