My African Grey really likes this toy. He’s a plucker, so anything I can offer him to keep him busy foraging for food keeps him from foraging on himself. The gaps in the wires are pretty wide, so I wouldn’t recommend this for a smaller bird as they could get their head stuck. It’s definitely for parrot sized birds. The other thing to note, is smaller treats will fall right out. They need to be bigger treats. I usually stuff it with pieces of card stock and hidden treats to keep him busy. He absolutely loves making a production out of it and slinging this thing all over the cage. Overall, if he’s happy, I’m happy.

It’s a good quality item. It’s a little awkward to use, both screwing and unscrewing the top take a long time and the bar spacing is such that you can’t put most unshelled nuts in it without them falling through. I had to make a bed of lettuce to holdThem in. Interesting to try.

This is a great toy for parrots. This one is smaller than the ones weve purchased before. But they are great to keep birds busy and give them exercise and work their brain. It lasts and lasts they cannot get inside. Weve got a blue and gold macaw (3) a scarlet, a durbian parakeet. None have ever torn it up.

While the sturdiness is great, our scarlet macaw was still able to untwist the cage, resulting in small pieces falling to the under area of her cage, with one of the pieces to put it back together never being found. All in all, it's sturdy and we've made it work as a toy on the bottom of her cage, but it will not hold up in its original intention with our wonderfully conniving and mischievous squawk.

Great multi use product for large parrots. You can put large pieces of fruit inside or wooden objects which will keep your parrot entertained for hours. Very sturdy, birds cannot destroy this cage.

Works as intended. Macaw hasn’t destroyed it yet. I tend to layer greens with nuts in there so it’s easier to keep the nuts from falling through and to heighten the foraging experience
