Less Pulling
Well, two Ausies. One of which thinks wherever she's going next is not there if we don't get there now. Those harness leaches gave her the advantage of full torque. Thankfully, our second Aussie came from Cooper in Goldsboro, NC and Gene Cooper recommended this leash. She pulls less and the force of her pull is also alleviated. Substantially. The male Aussie doesn't hate other dogs but when he sees a squirrel or some birds on the ground, for whatever reason he wants to run toward them. I've only experienced those moments with this leash (thickest option) and it's not been unpleasant. He hasn't pulled me down a flight of stairs or pulled out my arm from the socket, etc. They're both over 50 pounds and what can be correctly described as high energy dogs. I suppose hours of training with constant dog treats might have accomplished something along these lines, or an electric shock from the collar, but apart from those measures this leash worked for me.

Very well made
I love this leash! I originally bought the 1/2'' but it was just too much leash for my pup (40# now, expect her to be 65# full grown) so I bought a 3/8" leash and it is perfect. It is easy to use and quickly slip on when I need to leash her, and quickly slips off when I don't. I live in an area where she can be off leash most of the time but I like to have it ready when I need it.The colors are beautiful, it is very well made and easy to use, and is very reasonably priced.

Nice colors
My puppy is 5 months old, she’s about 30lbs. We were told to get the ⅜ size, but despite her small neck she has a lot of pull for a puppy. We had a different brand in this size, but the leash was too rigid and wouldn’t allow us to do proper turns or training as it would twist. I had a 15’ long lead made Mendota and knew this was the type of flexibility I needed. So we bought it.Our girl is doing better at leash walking, and it’s easier to handle because the lead doesn’t do weird things. I’m satisfied with the product.Specially since it was super important to get our Husky to learn to walk on a leash so she’s not pulling us around when she’s full grown 🤓

Great for a big agility dog!
I use these leash for agility trials and it made all the difference for a big dog (GSD). Instead of fumbling with a collar/leash combo after the run, and getting remarks from the judge, I just slip this on and leave the ring. It is much sturdier than a fleece slip-on leash I initially got from the Clean Run specialized agility vendor. My GSD didn't even feel that soft fleece thing, but really respects this Mendota leash. 10/10 would recommend!

Love it!
This is a perfect slip leash. Beautiful, soft, very high quality. Feels wonderful in my hand and around my pups neck. I have one I purchased ten years ago and still in excellent condition. I will buy again and recommend to all. My pups are 38 and 48 pounds.

Reliable and easy on/off
This slip lead is great. It's pliable yet sturdy. I had bought a different one that wasn't pliable so it wouldn't lay around the dog's neck. This one lays nice & flat around the neck and you can adjust the little black adjuster to prevent the loop from opening wide enough for a dog to back out of it. It's also really cute. I got the pink and black one. I highly recommend it. Easy to out on and easy to take off.

Great for any time in a dogs life.
Love these leashes, they serve a good purpose to keep your dog with you, without them slipping out, like they can with your basic collars. Will be helpful throughout dogs entire life. If you also have ID collar, that is perfect for they need their tags, very important, three finger comfortable between neck and collar is great fit, and should be checked regularly, especially during growing spirts which can happen up to two years of age.

Doesn’t quite stay in place
As someone who works with dogs I prefer slip leads with my own dog, but have yet to find one that stays in place with her slimmer neck. It is light and easy to hold, but won’t stay in place for very long.

Good Quality Product
Bought for my mum’s elderly Chihuahua. Lead was very well made, light but strong. There is a little leather fastening loop that you just push towards the dogs neck to tighten and pull it back to loosen off. Unfortunately, Chihuahuas are known as a breed going for world domination. My mum couldn't get near him to put this on - he was having none of it. Had to return it but would recommend if your dog is mentally stable, go ahead and buy it. A very good product.

Best slip lead I’ve found!
I have had several different slip leads for my 8mnth Springer pup and found them all to be rather abrasive on her neck (&nose when using as a fig8 for pulling) but this one is fabulous! It’s well made, soft to the touch and doesn’t have that nasty abrasive quality that the previous ones I tried did! Very good value for money! Liked it so much I’ve got it in 2 sizes - one shorter one for road walking and a longer one for park trips! 5star product!

Stops dog pulling
Our German shepherd pup was pulling terribly to point of being unwalkable. This lead has honestly made a huge difference. It’s because the thickness of the lead means I can really have a good hold of him. Also it’s not too long so I don’t get all tangled up holding excess lead. If you have a puller try this lead. I have the clip one as well but slip is better as my dog manages to get his head out of a normal collar.

Excellent lead a must for all doggy homes
Although i have the red one of this its a excellent lead nice to handle and very good for all dogs this thickness is ideal for middle to large dogs i have six rescues German Shepard , Collies and a German Pointer and it is fine for them after only a few times The Shepard of Eleven years old and no basic training now walks nicely (never too old to train) and the same for one of the collies I can now walk Six dogs out together and still have my arms left in their sockets when i get home

More control over a reactive dog. No slack. Stiff cinch.
+ Gives more control. Good for walks where you know there's a high probability of encountering other dogs.+ You don't need to hold slack in your other hand.+ The leather cinch seems to be good quality. I've only had it a short while but it's plenty stiff and better quality than the rubber one I had previously.
