The good: The release button works great. My weapon is very secure and the polymer is a snug fit so there's no rattle, just a nice click when it's inserted into the holster. The belt width adjustment works well but it's more of a "set it and forget it". If you use different width belts you will get tired of adjusting or just stop.The not-so-good: It's really not what I would call a concealment holster. The attachment point between the actual holster and the belt/paddle creates a space. The gun body sits away from your side quite a bit. There's a "hook" to prevent the paddle mount from sliding up. I don't believe that could be a problem as it's almost impossible to remove. I had to trim about half the hook down to make it so I could remove it with only significant effort.Overall I like it for use at the range but not for any type of everyday carry.

Excellent fit for my XDM service model. I would recommend you go to their website to make sure you get the correct model number for your handgun/and draw side (left/right). Lots of adjustments available depending on your preference. Level 2 retention is exactly what I wanted, that is another feature that I recommend you understand before you buy. Search for videos that will show you the different levels of retention. One thing you don't want is someone being able to snatch your handgun right out of the holster. Don't forget a good quality belt, and mag case. You can set up this holster for either belt loop or paddle style wear.

Can use as paddle or strictly belt worn configuration. When using paddle the belt will still go behind holster keeping it more secure with paddle.

I use this for both concealed carry during the winter and for open carry while hunting and other outdoor activities. It fits comfortably both with the belt loop attachment and the paddle attachment, which are also fairly quick to change over when I need to. While hunting, I took a nasty slide down a gravel hill and slid most of the way on my gun side. The holster was jammed with gravel and dirt but my gun was still securely locked in. I knocked the gravel and dirt out and other than some serious gouges and scratches the holster held up great.

I got this for range use mainly. It might be somewhat cumbersome for conceal and carry but it works great for the range.It's very durable and not at all clumsy and cheap.I like how the pistol locks into place keeping it from coming loose.It also promotes keeping your finger straight and off the trigger. After pressing the latch and pulling the firearm out your finger will be automatically straight and off the trigger.It's very adjustable in both the position and the fit. I use this holster for my XD9 subcompact. Yes, it DOES fit the subcompact. The end of the holster just extends about an inch past the barrel.

I ordered this from amazon and it came quickly and as advertised. It feels solid and durable. I have not used the paddle portion (it somes with the belt loop and the paddle mount) The gun won't come out of the holster for anything unless you push the button and the holster covers the "outside" side of the trigger guard so someone can not pull the gun out of the holster against you or as a dumb prank. The button is really easy to push and once you do push the button the gun comes right out, no resistance at all! I love this product.

I can confirm that this holster will fit the xdm elite .45 apc compact 3.8 and the 4.5 10mm. Both fit wonderfully. They lock and release with ease. There has been some concern about the safety of this holster being a trigger guard lock and it has been banned by many big name training centers. I can see it being a potential issue with those that do not practice with their fire arms and holster. With that being said, my finger never falls into the trigger guard upon release. Every time i practice the fire arm slides right out and my trigger finger lands on the bore axis position where it should safely be prior to acquiring target. Maybe it's due to my hand size, maybe its due to my practice, maybe both. Its a great value if it works for you. I've been very happy with it.
