Technos GMT Watch T2134SB

This is my third inexpensive watch purchase from Amazon and this watch is the nicest one of the bunch, definitely worth $120.Pros:- Beautifully finished case and bracelet. The case looks and feels like it was machined out of a 5 lb stainless steel billet. It looks a lot more expensive than it is.- It has a screw-down crown. As far as I'm concerned, the screw-down crown should be standard on any diver style watch and this one has it. I'm totally confident in its water resistance (unlike the other two inexpensive watches I bought which have pull-out crowns).- Accurate. So far the watch has been super accurate (which you'd expect from a quartz movement). It's a Swiss branded RONDA movement but the watch face is not marked "Swiss Mov't" so the movement is likely not actually Swiss made. The hacking movement allows to-the-second time setting.- The hands (all four) line up quite well with the numeral markers.- The coin edge bezel is easy to rotate (anti-clockwise of course) and is not sloppy or loose.Cons:- The watch is a little bulky for my taste, it's described as being 12.2 mm thick.- I wish it was a little smaller. It's described as having a 42 mm case but it feels bigger than that (to me).Overall, the TECHNOS GMT T2134SB is a very nice Rolex GMT Master II Ceramic Bezel knockoff, and for $120 I consider it a really good value.

Overall value (TLDR): For $120 this is a good buy, and good value for the money. I would buy again and would recommend to a friend.Design: This watch is an obvious homage to the Rolex GMT Master (~Submariner). (No it's not a fake, fakes put on the Rolex logo and try to pass as a Rolex.) The GMT/Submariner is a timeless design with excellent readability. It can be worn both as dressy and sporty. Can't go wrong with it.Movement: The Ronda GMT movement is not very common, but Ronda is an established brand, it should work fine. It's a hacking movement, so you can set it exactly to the second. The GMT setting works exactly like an ETA 2893-2. In other words you can't set the main hour hand without affecting the GMT hand. But it works the other way around.Since it's a quartz movement the second hand jumps instead of a sweeping like a mechanical. But it should be more accurate than a mechanical. (Aside: If you never had a mechanical watch, give them a try sometimes. They are less accurate, but they are little mechanical gems that have a soul/personality.)Details/Workmanship: The hands have good lume, but there's no lume on the hour markers. The dial is well made, I noticed no irregularities under the lupe. The cyclops(magnifier) is ok. It'll help if your eyes are not 20 years old any more, but there are better ones out there. The screw-down crown is smooth, hopefully will not strip easily. The second hand does not line up exactly with the markers, but this is common with quartz watches in this price range. No irregularities on the bezel, rotates smoothly, clicks nicely.The case makes me subtract a star. It's sharp(!?!?) at the lugs. I used my Dremel to gently smooth it out.The weakest point is the bracelet. It feels cheap, flimsy, squeaky and sharp(!). It's workable, but you're probably better off replacing it with a leather or silicone strap. This is what I've done after ~2 hrs. Again, in this price range this is what you can expect.If you like the GMT/Submariner design, but want quartz accuracy, or can't/won't spend money on the real thing, this watch is a good choice.

This is a nice watch, as far as looks go, but it falls short with the time setting feature, especially if you travel.The hour hand (local time zone), cannot be changed independently from the UTC/Zulu (2nd time zone) hand.For example, going from LAX to NYC, upon landing you need to adjust the hour (local) hand +3 hours. Problem is the UTC hand follows the local hand. So you then need to go into the UTC hand setting and rotate it forward 21 hours. (UTC hand cannot rotate back in time, only forward).Not an optimum design. Really not a factor if you do not travel. But if you do, it's a poor design.Hope my description helps.

This is not a bad looking watch however, I'll be returning this one.The watch was either a previously returned item or quality control was seriously lacking. There were noticeable small scratches and blemishes on the bezel surrounding the dial. Also be aware that the product description alludes to the watch being of Japanese origin. This watch had a sticker on the back indicating that the watch was assembled in China. Nothing against a Chinese watch... but it should have been disclosed in the product description.

impressive watch...feels just like a rolex (I tried my friends on several times). band is comfortable and secure. had to take out 3 links. no problem. Fred Myers has an outstanding jewelry department. hacked the watch to an app, and its right on. instructions in Japanese so no help. figured out how to set functions by trial and error. I really like this watch. No stupid logos on watch face. Very professional apperance.after 1 week: everything is still great...has not lost a second...over a year now... still looking great... very accurateUpdate: quit working. This date 6 Sep. 2020

Great watch, but for some reason , after only a year, the bezel changed color from black to red , now it's an orange yellow ... Why ?

Absolutely love this watch!!!!! The shipping was very fast, and I didn't even pay for faster shipping. The watch was packaged very well, and was new with tags as described, will buy from this seller again++++++++ the watch is battery powered so no need to wind it, and it keeps superb time, its a 42 mm which is a real nice size I find, it has heft to it, and is not cheap at all by no means. The bezel clicks as its turned, it fits nice on the wrist, and looks awesome!! The bracelet is not the greatest but does the job. What is great is the 200m water resistants it has, if you get a watch with 100m your good, and this is a really good price for a gmt with a Swiss movement Ronda movement, its woth buying you will not be disappointed I garuntee it!!!!! It looks like the Rolex gmt master 2 so if you cant get that rolex at this time, this watch will do for the time being!!

主人が時計を修理中なので購入しました。1週間で3秒しか狂わないと言っています。電波時計ではありませんからこのくらいで優秀なのかもしれません。見た目は写真どおりです。思ったよりも大きいです。私には良さがわからないですが主人は気に入ったようです。

デザインも良く軽さもあって良いと思います

とにかくサイズが大きい頑丈そうな外観の作りが良い商品です。ブレスは某スイス時計メーカーの様に中鏡面仕上げになっています。秒針のズレは若干あり、人によっては気になるかもしれません。下記不満点もあります。1.針に若干、遊びがあるので時刻合わせにコツが必要。2.夜光の発光が弱い。3.ベゼルに若干、ガタがある。4.GMT時計なのにベゼルが時計廻りに回転しない。おそらくコストダウンのためサブマリーナタイプと部品の共通化をしたためと思われる。ブレスサイズは珍しく大きく駒を１つ抜きました。（腕周り19cm）海外に行く時は日本時間と現地時間がわかるので便利だと思います。
