I bought all the Star Wars DK Readers for my six year-old son. He was bringing home the most insipid reading books as homework, and was not interested in the content, or in reading them, at all. The Star Wars series and other super-heroes readers have had a huge positive impact on his eagerness to read. This book is aimed at an older age group, but we read it together and he is aiming for the day when he gets the 'certificate' for reading the entire book on his own (he is working up from the easier books).

This Book Goes In A Lot Of Depth With All The Events That Happen In The Saga! It's Neatly Divided & Organized Into Sections! Very Enjoyable To Read Because It Made Me Cross Reference Between The Sections! I Was Well a Entertained! :-) This Book Is Enjoyable, Entertaining, & . . . . EPIC!!!! :-D I Really Recommend That GALACTIC CRISIS! Be Bought With This Book As A Companion! :-)

My younger son took over a year to get tired of this book. He loves Star Wars and we read this book at least four times a week for the first year we owned it.What else can you ask for? It helped me engender a love of reading in my son.

STAR WARSEPIC BATTLESThis book tells you a lot about the epic battles from episodes 1-6 and all about the weapons and planets they took place in. And the story that happened there.If you don’t want spoilers, please don’t read this book. I'd give it a four star. My fave was the entire first page. This book also tells you a lot about certain races from humans to gungans. And a lot about the characters seen in the movies.

Book took quite a while to arrive, once here just looked "tired" as though from an old public library.Our boy will be happy enough though, it's Star Wars and it's a book. You get what you pay for - it was cheap.

My eldest son has just watched all 6 films in the Star Wars story, plays the Lego Star Wars computer game and has used these books to extend his knowledge of the whole fantastic saga...it's wonderful to share such a fantastic story with a new generation.My eldest son likes to share the stories with his little brother...another wonderful series of books from DK.

Beautifully laid out, easy to read with lots of great pictures to keep new readers engaged. My 8 year old son who is a stars wars fanatic reads these books unprompted and willingly - first time ever!
