I have no hesitation in recommending these vacuum bags. I’ve tried just about every other brand including the one with the USB vacuum pump and none measure up to these. I simply used the hand pump supplied (because I was too lazy to get my vacuum cleaner out) and it did an amazing job, very quickly. The suction created by the hand pump is so good. It gives fantastic compression. Now I’ve managed to put all my spare throws, towels, cushions, pillows and winter coats in to my press so easily as they take up much less storage space. Just waiting for the larger bags to arrive and I can put my spare duvets in too. Im about to start on my massive yarn/wool stash. So delighted with my purchase. A little tip …. If like me you have a lot of items to bag, I recommend putting the packed bag on the floor then you can comfortably pump without your arm getting weary otherwise you can give your arm a good workout 😂.

These are brilliant little storage savers. They come with clear instructions printed onto the bags themselves. They also come with the hand pump so if you're like me and you only have a handheld hoover you can still use them effortlessly without worrying about finding a suitable attachment. I personally used them to store some old toys which were kept for sentimental value but not wanted for display. I had absolutely no problem using the pump and it does not require a lot of strength to use, if there is too much pressure the pump simply releases the excess. I did have an issue with one of my bags deflating which is why I didn't give these 5*. It was easily fixed by ensuring the pink stopper in the seal was repositioned correctly and that has now held for several weeks. You get a lifetime guarantee on any of these bags so if there is an issue they will resend a new bag completely free! I have not had to use this service yet so I cannot vouch for how reliable it is but I love the premise.Overall I'd say you can't go wrong with these, anyone can use them and I can't argue with the amazing price!

These bags seem to be really strong, they feel substantial and by following the instructions I was able to easily pack and seal a king size quilt in one and pillows in another. I bought the medium size bags and used the hand pump (supplied). The pump, despite its flimsy appearance worked much better than expected. It drew the air out quickly and left a very tightly compressed parcel. Once fully sealed (using the sliding clip along the sealing strips and screwing on the nozzle cap) there was no evidence of leaks or air ingress. A great storage solution and well worth the money.

These are easy to use and the vacuum pump is effective.I have used these to store winter skirts, jumpers and fleeces.Now I just need to find a storage place for the stored packs!

These are a great idea. They reduce bulky storage of soft fabrics and air fill items like cushions, pillows, spare duvets, etc. Occasionally they do not seal and the vacuum is slowly lost. Also items can get VERY creased. I don't think cotton would be a good idea because this can be a devil getting the creases out.

I’m super suprised at how impressed I am. In these two cabin max bags (both easyJet overhead storage compatible) I’ve managed to pack a family of 4’s clothes for an 8 day holiday (2 adults 2 kids)! I’d usually have atleast 4 of these before (and would have taken less than I’ve packed this time). The medium bags are huge (I’ve managed to use one per person so have two spare). The seals have all held first try, super simple to figure out and use. The manual pump is also super effective and very impressed with the quality! Especially for £12.99. Would highly recommend.

Great purchase for travelling the spacesavers brand works well and it is the most sturdy brand I have experienced so far! However, still be careful little holes can be made easily.

I was persuaded to buy this by my brother for travelling. I was doubtful but I would say my luggage weight was 5-7kg lighter my using it. The only problem is that you arrive with creased clothes.

If you love to save space, these come in very handy. Perfect for storing clean linens at the cottage for the winter. Great for blankets, sheets, comforters and towels. I would recommend medium and large for these items.

It was not it's not heavy duty vinyl or plastic but certainly strong enough to be good for a long time I think. I received a package opened it took out the bags filled them with 70 table cloths from a recent wedding reception we purchased the tablecloths for. Build another one with tool from the wedding. Vacuumed The air Out of them they shrunk down nicely and I put them on the shelf all within 10 minutes. That's what I hope to do and it worked. I had no trouble with the zipper on it. You do have to get it onto the closure part correctly and it Zipped right across and did a fine job. I would recommend them. The improvement would be if it was vital but I believe that as long as they're packaged on the shelf and sitting there it's going to be good.

The pump did not work on any of the bags. The bags are great when I used my vacuum.

I paired these with a weatherproof storage bin to hold off-season clothes like chunky sweaters in the summer and shorts in the winter.
