I poured boiling water into the new Kalmateh thermos. The ambient temperature of the inner bottle reduced the temperature to exactly 200 deg F (90.3C). One hour later the water in the Kalmateh measured exactly 197.5 deg F (90.2C). Pretty impressive heat retention. Even on a parabolic decline, the temperature after 18 hours would still be above 160F (70C) amd warm enough to draw the flavor out of the erva mate.The finish on the outside of the thermos is even and just as pictured, and all parts of the assembly are well constructed with nice materials. The pouring spout in the lid of the bottle works easily and pours cleanly without leakage. The cup/cover is well made, easy to clean, threads on easily and fits snugly.

Great termo for my mate, the design is cool and classy and the water flow is great.Got a second one since I liked it so much.Buy it!

This product is worth the money. Besides it’s sleek design and the uniqueness it truly does keep your coffee extremely hot and it taste so good as if you just finish making a cup of coffee fresh brew. They have different styles depending on your likeness but it’s so worth the money. I gave it all thumbs up of this product.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I got the light blue thermo to match my mate and it does perfectly, the finish is matte and slightly chalky (which I like, but after only 2 days it has some black scuffs so I'm concerned about the paints longevity). In addition to the scuffs it actually arrived with a small dent in the base (which is superficial, but again makes me concerned about how this is going to hold up in my life as a backpacker). On the plus side, I did a heat retention test (poured just boiled water into the room temp thermo, sealed it up and saw how long it would remain hot) after 5 hours the water was still letting off a lot of steam and too hot to submerge a finger in (it's currently Sept. in Northern Mexico so it's not a drastic temp difference making dramatic steam)

Super cute and really hold the water hot!

I really like this flask...it is aesthetically beautiful and practical. It is not too big and not too small, it's actually perfect for my purposes. I use it for hot water to drink mate throughout the day and whilst I will say that the water does not remain the same temperature for the duration of the day, I am satisfied for my purposes because I can get through a day of drinking mate with this flask!The functionality of the pouring mechanism is very useful.Great product.

Excellent product, as Argentinian I value a good “termo” great for drinking mate and keeps water hot. It spills a little but it’s not a big deal. The color is beautiful. Definitely recommended

Wrong color, broken, poorly packaged

It was fine at the beginning. Then one day, barely a month after I received it, the top came off as I was pouring hot water into my mate. Tried to put it together again, and now it is locked in the open position, so that at least I can use it, but I will not be able to clean it. Definitely not impressed.
