R.J. ToomeyMen's Summer Comfort Short Sleeve Clergy Shirt, Black, 16.5in Neck

This purchase gave me a very nice, extremely comfortable summer shirt. Sometimes you put on a shirt like this and because of the way the collar sits, it's pulling on part of the shirt whenever you move your neck. The first thing I noticed, when I put it on, is that this doesn't do that. Maybe a tailor would say, "It's well cut!" It has an extremely comfortable collar. The whole shirt simply feels comfortable. I know also that I can put on a few pounds and it will not feel too tight. I can also lose some pounds and it will not feel too big or lose. I have been wearing a size 18" from other manufactures. I chose to order an 18 1/2 with this . I was a good choice.

I am a minister who officiates a lot of outdoor weddings in the hot summers in the South, and needed a nice-looking white short-sleeved shirt for these events. White clergy shirts are hard to find, and I was delighted when I found the R.J. Toomey shirt in white. These are the finest clergy shirts I've ever seen. Beautiful poly/cotton blend that breaths, perfect fit, quality tailoring, and launders well (no ironing needed if you take them out of the drier immediately after drying). Even the two plastic collar tabs were very nice items. I also love the wide color selection, as well. I purchased two of the white ones, and am now planning to order other colors for variety (not to mention planning on going with R.J. Toomey for for all my clergy shirt needs).. Well worth spending the extra money for such a high-quality shirt that will last a long time. Highly recommended.

Fits perfect through the body, but neck could be just a fraction bigger. I kept the shirts (ordered 2), because they work, and they are not uncomfortable. The body may be too big if I got a 1/2 size bigger.
