Saft LS-14250 1/2 AA 3.6V Lithium Primary Battery for Mac computers (non Rechargeable)

Used these batteries for wireless alarm system remote sensors and they work fine. The date on the battery is manufacture date, not expiration date. The batteries I used to buy were from R-Shack were dead on purchase(Tadiran brand). These are 1/4 the price and all worked when I got them. These have been installed for a few months and are still holding a full charge so the drain is also very good. I recommend these as a replacement without hesitation. Stay away from the Tadiran brand...==Update 8-4-2012 ==I need to purchase more so I thought I'd update... Just installed the last of the batteries I purchased about 2 years ago and it was still holding a full charge. The ones I have installed throughout the last couple of years have held up very well with long life and steady output. Still recommended.==Update 7-20-2013 ==Had a sensor beep today signifying a low battery condition. When I pulled it out I noted this was one of these batteries I installed just under 2 years ago. These are in motion sensors so thats pretty darn good! Ordered two more today...

I still have a working PowerMac G4 but whenever the power went out or I unplugged it the clock would get all weird and say it was 1970. I've had to replace the battery a number of times over the years and used to just pop over to Radio Shack back in the day. Nowdays it looks like Amazon has me covered and the price was reasonable. Popped out the old purple battery and slipped this one in. Now it's good as new.

I had to replace one of these batteries that was depleted. I already had a spare, but it had been stored unused for about 7 years. At first, it appeared to be almost depleted and I was about to throw it out, but after a couple of minutes of current draw, it started working normally. I got a new one just in case and compared the open and lightly-loaded voltages. They were identical. So for at least 7 years, I believe the storage claim.

Laser sight battery replacement

At the beginning of the year I purchased a wrist worn Oximeter that uses the Saft LS 14250 battery. The original battery lasted 25 days. I then purchased three batteries from MyBatterySupplier. These three batteries lasted 34, 35 & 26 days. I subsequently purchased four batteries from Beiter Battery and Auto Electric. I have replaced three of these batteries so far. I am currently running on the third one. The first two replacements lasted 10 and 13 days. I paid over four dollars each for these two batteries and have obtained one-half to one-third of usage from them. The remaining two batteries from my four battery order have yet to be evaluated. One is in the Oximeter and the fourth one is queued up.I am giving MyBatterySupplier another try. I just ordered six batteries from them and two from Value Twist. MyBatterySupplier charges over four dollars each for the batteries and zero shipping. My out of pocket per battery was $4.65. Value Twist charges around two dollars for the battery and over four dollars shipping. My out of pocket per battery was $6.96.There you have it.Rod

Needed a replacement battery for an old Macintosh PC motherboard and this battery worked perfectly.

I bought this to replace the battery in a sensor on my front door. It’s a good fit and was simple to install. I can’t speak to longevity yet, it’s been installed for only about a month. So far so good. Will it last as long as the first battery? Who knows. That one was 15 years old.

Wie bereits in der Überschrift erwähnt kam die Batterie leider komplett entladen an.Wurde direkt nach der Lieferung in einem elektrischen Türknauf verbaut, welcher weiterhin keine Reaktion zeigte. Als anschließend ein Modell aus dem Einzelhandel verbaut wurde, funktionierte er. Somit leider nicht brauchbar für mich.Eventuell handelte es sich aber auch um einen Einzelfall.
