Rokz Cranberry Cocktail Sugar Rimmerz, 4 Ounce

I originally paid $7 for the Citrus Jalapeño Salt product from Rokz. The container arrived without the salt. I contacted Amazon with no response, however Rokz reached out to me to let me know they saw my review and offered to send me a replacement which I greatly appreciated.

Rimmed Margherita and Bloody Mary drinks.Liked it but expected it to be spicier.

A little expensive for margarita salt but it adds an extra heat element to both regular and jalapeño-infused (e.g with Tanteo tequila) margaritas. I originally bought one for a gift but ended up buying my own after trying and enjoying it. I’ll likely just use it for the occasional margarita, so I just pour a little out of the bag at a time. I find it easier to just “lime up” a thick strip on the glass, rather than doing the whole rim. It’s just salt and herbs, so I’m hoping it will last quite a while as long as I keep the humidity out. I’m also looking forward to trying it out on a Bloody Mary!

The tin is nice and would make dipping a rim easy. The Sugar smells spicy but, sadly has zero spice flavor-just sugar. It is also much finer than I would expect for a rimming sugar, even finer than regular sugar, very powdery.

A little chunkier than I expected it wanted and a little less flavorful than expected. I primarily tasted citrus and not sure if it's from a powdered citrus in the salt or from the lemon used to affix to rim of glass but it's not bad either and better than nothing at all. Cute tin but would be nicer in a container that was safe for actually putting the product directly in and applying from. This tin is basically useless and that's a bummer.
