The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what I wanted. This is great quality at a great price. I love the size, as it's perfect for steaming veggies or just cooking for a couple people. It's really solid, can be used on all cooktops, and has all of the heat protectant handles and knob. This will last a long time.

I steam vegetables every night for dinner so a good steamer is important to me . I have used many steamers over the years and have come to expect some level of flaw or frustration.. I started with the metal steamer baskets you drop in and take out, but they are hot to handle and their metal petals would break over time. I then used a steamer with an inset (similar to the nevlers) but the lid screw came loose and couldn't be tightened. Then I tried another steamer with inset but the steam pressure release hole on the lid was too small so the hot water would boil over. Then I bought a cheap steamer from wal-mart whose basket inset handle broke so it was hard to remove the inlet, whose outside handles were metal and became too hot to touch, and whose bottom became discolored. One fiasco after another. I have had the Nevlers for two weeks and it's worked perfectly. The outside handles are extended so the heat from the gas burner doesn't make them hot so I can lift the steam inset and the pot itself without getting burnt. The steamer release hole in the lid works as expected--releasing steam pressure without boiling over. The steamer cleans flawlessly in the dishwasher. In prior steamers, hard water discoloration stains would appear over tine inside the steamer. So far this has not been a problem. Look at the 2 photos-- one of a prior steamer showing hard water marks from the level where I filled water and the other of the nevlers. So far no water marks, but I will update this in a month or so.This is the best steamer I have ever used after many years of experience.

Easy to use and wash. Heavy duty though I would have liked a heavier bottom plate but I didn't want to spend $100 for a pot. Since I was surprised at it's lightness I did watch it closely as I boiled water to see if the bottom plate distributed the heat as well as the more expensive brands so I am very pleased. Steamer works well. Handle on lid does hold water, which is easy to see with the glass, so I unscrew it a bit while drying to make sure water completely drains from this recess.

This product steams meat and vegetables beautifully, but it is hard to clean. The pot needs to be scrubbed often and vigorously to keep it clean and the top part has to be scrubbed before going in a dishwasher or it won't get clean. It seems like the company used an inferior kind of metal to make this streamer. The design it good; the materials leave something to be desired.

I cook with an induction stove.I bought this Nevlers steamer pot 3 years ago and it’s held up really well.I recently bought another steamer pot from a different manufacturer, and its handles would get really hot and the new pot would take longer to heat up and boil water.The Nevlers steamer pot handles stay relatively cool, there is more metal at it’s base. , so water will come to a boil faster than the new pot.Because of this, I decided to buy another Nevlers steamer pot.Now I have two steamer inserts that I can use on the pot to steam twice as many things.

This is the second Nevlers 3 quart steamer pot we’ve ordered ... one for each of two residences. We’ve made something in it each day since we’ve had it. We are “seniors” and have not ever owned a steamer, but loved the “crunchiness” of vegetables when we ate at friends’ homes. So far we’ve had chicken, salmon, shrimp, baby potatoes, broccoli and numerous other vegetables. It’s QUICK; the food retains its VIBRANT COLORS and vegetables come out CRUNCHY rather than soggy. The pot is made from gleaming stainless steel, which makes it easy to care for. Honestly, it’s my favorite thing I’ve purchased in the last year and has become the most used pot in our kitchen. This invention is amazing, and is exceptionally priced. I've used it a lot now, and it's dual compartment feature is a unique for cooking multiple dishes. Nevlers support Team are fast responders and I've already been signed up for the 3 years free warranty, so that's a plus side. Now that I can finally cook my favorite dish the way it should be prepared, it tastes great! The pot is easy to clean and care for, and, it is a great set with the rest of the pot's and pans to the kitchen, as well as a well deserved addition! I recommend this pot set to anyone!

Product was exactly as described, works well and easy to wash up. Only downside is it isn’t to go into the dishwasher. So far we’ve used it for vegetables and dumplings. Very good product.
