If you need it, nothing like it
Works well. Approach the pressure you use carefully so at to not blow out your plumbing. Also, use a good stopper and towel to cover the other bowl in a two sided kitchen sink or you’ll get an unplanned shower…and have to clean the ceiling too…

Annihilates drain blockages and worth every darn penny!
This thing just destroys clogs and attracts more woman than Drakkar Noir in the 80's. I called a plumber a few years back to clear out a shower drain and the guy showed up with a device just like this one. Could have been the same exact one even. It was amaaaazzziiinnnggg...Anyway... for those clogs where the plunger just won't do it, this thing delivers. I had the most stubborn clog and took apart all the piping under the sink figuring it'd be localized. Nope - not localized.Tried snaking the drain. Nope - can't touch this (clog)Two shots with "the postman" (ya know, because it delivers!) and the problem was solved. It's my go-to for now on when I have a clogged drain. It's extremely well made and the ladies love seeing you hold it.UPDATE: After clearing the drain with this thing, she proposed and I said yes!

The Kinetic Water Ram will pay for itself over time
The Water Ram has saved us hundreds of dollars in plumbing expenses over the years. It works well to unclog drains. You must periodically oil the o-ring per instructions or else the water ram will fail and you'll have to purchase a new one since repairing it is cost prohibitive.

Clogged drains eliminated from my life.
Over the years (I'm 57) I've tried everything from dumping chemicals down the drain to snakes to plungers. Sometimes they worked. Sometimes they didn't. All of them took a long time and/or a lot of work. This thing blows them all away (pun intended). Not only did it completely clear away the clog in my bathroom sink, it did it in seconds and without any environmental concerns. One of my best purchases ever. I'm surprised there aren't any serious competitors to choose from. This seems to be the only brand available. Seriously, give this thing a try. You can always return it but I'm sure you won't. My biggest concern now is that people will want to borrow it from me and "forget" to return it. It's that good.Edited to add: It's also great for blasting spiders off of my windows. I can do it from inside right through the screen.

Works really good but it's really heavy
Works really good but it's really heavy. My tool slipped out of my hand during the first use an cracked the sink.

Great item, works like a charm
Unboxed it, read the instructions in 2-3 mins, had the drain unblocked within minutes. Easy to use, just start slow and work up. I had a plumber use this same thing last year on the same drain. He showed/told me how easy it was and that it will pay for itself in just a few uses. He was right.Don't listen to the "master plumber" below. The rest of his reviews are about assault weapons and he probably sees consumer useful items like this as an assault on his freedom to overcharge his customers by the hour.

Ramming speed ahead
Life choices can make for some deep introspection. As I sit here writing a review of a kinetic water ram on Amazon, I stop and wonder what my younger self of 30 years ago would say? Would my long-hair, head-banging person make the same decisions, or would he mock me for getting hyped up over something both mundane and esoteric? Of course, Amazon did not exist 30 years ago (but they're close to it), and I am still long-haired and head-banging, albeit with a bit of grey now, so in the end, the exercise is simply a fun diversion.Having had on-and-off troubles with one particular drain in my house, and several calls to plumbers, I decided to try this. After all, the cost of this device is equal to one, at most two, visits from a snake-wielding plumber, and can only save me money in the end.It works as advertised, but I would urge a bit of caution. Apparently my shower drain has a rubber boot which connects it to the drain pipe under the floor, and the boot started to slip off, causing a waterfall in my kitchen underneath the bathroom. I do not blame the usage of this device which caused it to separate, but in all likelihood, it was the original contractor who did not properly install the drain.

Good pump but really needs to be pumped
You should be careful, this guy packs a punch. But it'll definitely clear your pipes
