Q: Is this suitable for a flat roof

I’m not sure what you want to use it for on your flat roof. I’ve used this particular brand a few times because I like the netting itself, as it’s not too stretchy and it’s lightweight and it is 2m in width. However, I was using it to make a netted roof to stretch from the top of my chicken run to some posts around the outside, to stop leaves falling in between the outside of my run and the electric fence, as they build up and reduce the voltage. I found it started off wide enough, but the width wasn’t consistent for the full length of the roll, it went narrower in the middle of the roll and wouldn’t reach (I had measured and placed my posts within 2m).

Q: Is this suitable for catproofing a balcony?

I wouldn't think so as the cats claws could get stuck in it if it tried to climb up it, maybe chicken wire would be better. I hope the balcony is high enough for the cat to not jump up it?

Q: Hi would this stop pigeons from feeding on grass seed in the lawn? Also does it come with pegs? Thanks

I don't think it was designed for this but for keeping birds off fruit such as raspberries and small fruit trees. On the lawn they could peck the seed through the netting so it would all depend whether or not they were put off by the netting being there rather physically stopping them. They possibly would be put off by it. Not pegs with it

You could cut out a shape that suits the pot size.
