I love DrMartins boots they are the best I have pair of black I would buy them over and over good quality and fashion

Good color. Good fit and I'm already wearing them around the house to break them in. They also arrived a day sooner than expected.

These boots are just like they always have been, and hopefully always will be. The leather is a little stiffer/thicker than the English boots of yesteryear.Also, the dye seems to penetrate deeper into the leather than the English boots of the past.I've been wearing Dr. Martens boots for about 20 years now. The fact that they are made in Southeast Asia hasn't materially effected the quality of the product. You couldn't buy these boots for $85 in the mid 90s. They take a little longer to break in, but that really is about it. The soles still feel great, and once they are fit to your feet they're your Docs.Please remember to properly size your boots prior to purchase. Reviews that say they are tight or are too big clearly haven't read the information on properly sizing Dr. Martens. I wear a 10.5 and have wide (4E) feet. I wear a 9(UK) size Dr. Marten. Ladies - The sizing chart works one more size down for you. If you're a lady's size 9 you need a 7(UK) size Dr. Marten.***********UpdateI was having trouble getting these broken. I wore them for about three weeks straight and then put them into rotation with their brothers. I'd get to red boot day and they were a pain to wear. After figuring they just needed to be broken in more I started stuffing thick socks into the boots right after I took them off in hopes that being stuffed for two days would stretch them. There was some moderate success, but not enough.The pain that they were causing had me considering extreme measures. Rather than sending an email to Amazon or Dr Martens begging for a replacement pair I looked inside to find out what was causing so much pain. There was about 1/4 inch excess leather where the toe cap meets the tongue. Checked my two other pairs purchased in the last year and didn't find as much excess (actually almost none in one pair, and a broken in/soft 1/8 or less excess in the other pair.)At first I considered using a sharp utility knife blade to trim it down. Then I decided to try some 180 grit sandpaper wrapped around a 1 inch or so piece of dowel. After "sanding" the leather and continuing with the sock stretching I'm happy to report that all is well. It didn't take long and I only sanded where the excess was.After about 12 hours of wear yesterday they felt so much better.

I bet all the folks who post that these are uncomforatable, or too stiff or whatever have never had ANY new Doc's before. They take about three-four weeks of constant wear to break in, and you're going to hate them for that amount of time. That happens with any Doc's you buy ( maybe the Vegan versions don't require it, I've yet to try them, but I will- I bought the leather for work), Viet-made, or UK-made. I've not noticed any difference in quality of materials or workmanship from any of the English-made boots and shoes I've had in the past. This is my first pair of Viet-made, but I'm sure they won't be the last. I am very happy with these. They run a touch large, I wear a men's 10.5 in most things, and a size 10us (9uk) is just the tiniest bit too small, so I go to US11(10UK) for all my Doc's. I replace the insoles with a pair of Profoot work insoles, which are a bit thicker than the factory insoles, and the fit is damn enar perfect.

If you’re going to spend the money, spend it on a boat that will last you. My son asked for these for Christmas, and I was happy to make the investment because I know these will last forever. Truly excellent quality and great for the changing seasons. You do have to wear these around to break them in your feet might be a little sore the first couple days. But eventually they fit like a glove! Can’t go wrong with Doc Martin’s.

Super-fast shipping. Scheduled for 2-5 days, arrived on the 2nd day.It's DM. For me, this boot is perfect. It's comfortable to walk in and I haven't even had issues with "break-in" as many report you need to do. I tried on a couple of pairs at a local store. I know I should support local, but they didn't have the colour I wanted in my size. I even tried a bigger size with an thick insole to try, but ultimately, the right size without an insole is actually a better fit for me.I missed having DM's. My last pair was many years ago, and lasted for many years - they were falling apart and I reluctantly got rid of them.I got the red and love the colour. I've put Dr. Marten's Wonder Balsam on them twice already, just to protect them and that really brings out the colour as well.
