So much easier than the drops for my 1.5 year old. He loves taking his daily "vitamin."In regard to the post claiming the magnesium stearate prevents absorption, this has been disproven by many scientists:"One in vitro study conducted in 2007 found that tablets containing magnesium stearate dissolved more slowly than tablets without magnesium stearate when placed in artificial gastric juice. However, an earlier study found that although magnesium stearate increased the time it took for a drug to dissolve, it had no effect on overall bioavailability, as evidenced by blood levels of the drug in test subjects. I have to say, these are exactly what I was looking for. I take a multivitamin but needed just a little more Vitamin D (I'm an adult woman) but didn't want too much. I know these are chewable but I didn't care; they taste very good by the way so kids will like them. Now I can get the right amount of Vitamin D.

I had been giving my 3 year old liquid vit D but bought this just in case... I decided to try the tablets because when I gave my daughter 2 pills she spit them out immediately and WOW they taste so disgusting! I couldn't believe that they had such good reviews. I will stick to the drops with coconut oil. I'm glad we tried them so that now we know never to buy them again! Thank you

This is the second winter season Ive had my son on this and he has done so much better. He has always been the kind of kid who comes home with some cold or flu and as soon as he gets over it, gets another one. We are just finishing up another winter season in Illinois. He had 3 colds and each one lasted less than a week. Never got the flu. I believe in boosting his immune system since I cant get him to wash his hands and keep his hands away from somewhere on his face when he is at school or wherever he goes to pick up germs. You just cant eliminate exposure but you can boost the immune system to fight things off better. I also have him on the echinacea +C gummies you can get online or at target in addition to the D3.
