Curvit Shower Curtain Rings

Because of my own ineptitude I broke a couple of these guys when opening the package but tried them out anyway on my shower and i'm very happy with the way they work so far. It's been about a week of 2x daily use. Almost immediately upon opening, there is a little note that the inventor will be happy to replace any broken ones and even followed up with an email via Amazon to reinforce this. I've contacted him and suggested a "Read this first" card might help because the things are actually pretty strong once installed. Also the inventor sends a link to an installation video that is extremely helpful. Watch it start to finish because there are tips in there too.So they work like a counterbalance. The top leans in towards the shower which pushes the bottom part of the curtain outwards slightly. This stops the shower curtain from blowing around and gives you extra room around your torso. An added bonus is that the device also lifts the curtain up an inch or two which stops the curtain from picking up soap suds and gunk from the shower floor.At first the Curvit seemed really wobbly but he also provided some clips to hold the curtain on. It says they are optional but I'm not sure it would work well without them. The clips are really difficult to get on but really do a good job once installed.After a week of use I'm really happy with these though. They give more elbow room and they have a clip for your outer curtain too. With the outer curtain also hung, you cant tell these things are even installed and they don't encroach on the bathroom space at all. One tip for buyers though, opening the curtain is easier if you grab the hooks up at the bar where the outer curtain connects, not on the part in the shower.So 4 stars just because they could be a little heavier-duty and maybe a slightly different design on the clips but that 4 star is bordering on a 5 star. By the way, when these are unfolded and installed, they are a lot stronger. It was just that initial unfolding, unboxing and installation that seemed a teeny bit wonky.

I've been using this item for a couple of weeks now.As a 6'4 guy - shower space is never enough.Installation on my shower took about 10 minutes - nothing too complicated. I did have an organizer hooked to my shower hooks previously - am no longer able to use this inside the shower as I was previously - something to consider.All in all - I feel like it does add *some* room to the shower in the form of elbow room. It's a decent alternative if you don't feel like or can't replace your rod with a curved one.However, two weeks in - and one of my pieces has already broken in half. The plastic is very thing and I have been careful when sliding shower open/closed - so have serious doubts on the durability of this. All in all - for the price - it's a decent way to add some quick space.

I'm giving these a 4 star review because I think there is room for improvement. They are great for creating the extra space I was looking for & they lift just enough of the shower curtain up so that I'm not standing on it anymore, however it would be great if there was a way, perhaps a small suction cup at the point, to hold the guides in place on the shower curtain? Otherwise, these are a terrific invention!! I'm using them in an old clawfoot tub in a basement apartment with a low ceiling. Before I bought these, I had a cramped shower space & I was having to cut 6 inches off the bottom of every shower curtain I bought. The guides push out just enough to lift the shower curtain off the bottom of the tub & they create about an extra six inches of space to maneuver my arms when washing my hair!

This product is fantastic! I have been using it for little over a month now and love it. Originally, I was worried that you would be able to see the blue through my white see-through shower curtain, but you can barely see it. Still, I would have liked to see the clear curvit available for purchase.My only dislike about the product are those little clips that are used to hood the shower liner. It took me more than half an hour to get half of those blasted things on. My shower curtain liner is a tad thicker than most. I could barely get the clips of without feeling like I was going to break them. I needed to use one of my old curtain hooks to pry the clips open and fasten them on without breaking the clips, my fingers, or putting a hole in the liner. These in my opinion could be made better

I've only had this for two months, but have had to throw it away. Each blue stick connects to another to make a V shape. After about a month one stick broke which made the whole V not work right. Now both sticks in that V broke. So I gave up and just bought a curved curtain rod that installs with pressure only, which is more than twice the cost. I wish I had just done that sooner, because that's what I was going for in the first place.

I bought a set of the shower curtain rings, one of them unfortunately arrived broken. The owner had e-mailed me previous to the products arrival, thanking me for my purchase and offering bonus tips for installation. I e-mailed him that afternoon (on a Sunday no less) and he responded to my e-mail within 5-10 minutes and is sending me a new one no questions asked, free of charge.
