Locs Satin Bonnet Curly Hair Sleep Cap Box Braids Bonnet

Ordered this scarf, it arrived in a timely manner. However the scarf has dark stains or markings ( most likely from previous owners hair products), residue around the band and the be honest, smells VERY used!! yuck! I don’t want to wear this even if I washed it. Very disappointed. The dark stains throughout the scarf are hard to tell due to its satin finish but the smell from the scarf is very potent. *goes to wash hands after touching*

The bonnet fits great and doesn't come off while sleeping. The material feels nice and the inside is lined. However, the tag on the inside says the material is 100% polyester. If you are looking for a satin bonnet this one is not satin, at least the inside isn't. This bonnet is the perfect size for long locs. I oil my hair at night. The bonnet kept my hair moisturized and the oil did not seep onto my pillows. Despite my disappointment with the polyester material, I still like this bonnet. I will not wear it every night because I prefer a satin bonnet. However, I would still recommend this bonnet if you have long locs or braids. The scarf that comes with the bonnet is cute and functional. My only complaint is that I wish the scarf was wider. I feel a wider scarf would help keep my edges laid better while sleeping. Overall, this is a pretty good bonnet. I only gave it 3 stars because the lining, is not satin.

Says polyester. Not satin or silk like I thought i was buying? .......false advertising beware. It’s polyester not silk or satan.

Love the double sided satin, and this headband style keeps it on all night. This is excellent high quality satin, the soft, smooth, shine kind. (This is not silk, and they did not advertise it as such). If you want that, expect to pay way more and take extra care for the fragility of pure silk.I took off one star because of what they did advertise: No color bleeding. (See pictures) I have pre-hand wash my bonnet with laundry detergent. There is color bleeding and it got better with the second hand- wash. I actually expect my new dark color satin head wraps to bleed some in the wash-from past experiences with other brands. Which is why I do at least 2 pre-washes before wearing them. It did NOT bleed on my pillow case (which is also satin and a light color). So just don’t advertise no color bleeding and I would have been fine with it.I am keeping my bonnet because I think it’s great and stays on my head without leaving lines or a headache.Tip: please use the extra satin strip on your hair line edges and tie it down. Then wear the bonnet slightly lower touching your forehead to keep a skin surface for grip. The headband material on the bonnet is not satin and can dry out/or break off the sensitive edges of your hair with repeated use. It’s like the negative side effect of the stay-put headband.

This satin bonnet is by far the best bonnet I've found for my daughter. It arrived promptly and in excellent condition. It worked so well for my daughter while her hair was styled in medium box braids! No need to bend or flip any braids to fit while wearing the bonnet because the bonnet provides amazing length and space. The band fit comfortably and we never had any issues with her edges. She is also able to wear this with her naturally curly hair. I would absolutely recommend this product and or buy again.

I expected this to be just another bonnet - only long enough to keep my hair from drying out on those nights that I don’t want to wrap and my pillowcase isn’t satin. I am extremely tender-headed and prone to headaches so I can’t have anything that will cut circulation or has a knot in the back or on the sides. This seemed to fit the bill and was recommended by my niece. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well made this is! The band is tight enough to stay on but not so tight as to give me a headache. For those with fragile edges it comes with a satin tie that you can affix under the band but I either pull the bonnet low enough to where the band is not on my hair or I will cuff the band over. I love it!Also this really is a SATIN bonnet. I had to look it up since it says 100% polyester. I discovered that satin is a weave not a material.

I am currently using my bonnet for the first time and I have to say I am so impressed. It has multiple layers and the tie to protect my edges is a bonus. I had some locs installed today that are 26 inches. The fact that these are all in this bonnet without any issues is just amazing. These are the longest locs that i own with my other lengths being between 18 and 22 inches. So if it can handle my 26in ones that I currently have then I know that it will be able to handle the other length without any issues. Well done and bravo on this product. I will definitely recommend to my sistas who have braids, weaves, and locs. Outstanding.

First, I would STRONGLY recommend that you wash this immediately or at least prior to wearing it. The chemical smell this thing gives off burnt my nose hair and lingered in my throat for a few hours! I would never want that to touch my hair let alone my hairline/skin. I don't know why they felt it needed that but WASH IT!!!Second, this is NOT made from satin, if that's what you must have, this isn't it. It is 100% Polyester and it says so on the inside tag.Overall it does what I need it to do. I have waist-length gypsy locs and I don't like to sleep without them covered. The headband is stretchy enough it won't leave a line on your forehead but if your a wild sleeper you might want to use (NOT the useless band in the package!) a scarf to double secure it around your head.

Love this cap. I have long crochet locs. This holds them in and best of all the cap does not come off. Having tried lots of different caps and scarves this is brilliant. Big thumbs up.

I am so pleased with this product and it arrived within 24 hours. On arrival I washed it immediately as some other reviewers said it stained their bedding. To be honest the material really did not bleed too much in the wash water!! The quality of this product is excellent (It does feel like silk even though it is not) and the stitching is very firm. It is very well made indeed! I have locs down to my but and they can fit comfortably into the bonnet. No more wrapping my hair up high to sleep!! This bonnet is so comfortable, the band round the edge of the bonnet and the ribbon you get to protect your edges are perfect. A big plus is that it stays on all night!!Overall a great purchase. I'm going to order another on right now. Very happy customer.

I have tried several silk bonnets and a few buffs for my very long hair, this one feels as soft as my silk bonnets, but it’s a lot more comfortable around my head because of the soft elastic, it stays on all night and because my hair isn’t squashed to fit in, my curls are much bouncier in the morning. I would definitely recommend it.

Simply brilliant! Plenty of space for my long braids and it stays on without leaving any marks. The scarf is also very useful and I love the funky pattern on both. Very good quality material, well worth the money.
