First, I received my delivery much quicker than expected. Also quicker than the quoted time frame. That's always a good thing. Now on to the watch. First impression. Looks great, looks stylish, looks almost fancy. Deeper inspection. The band looks very fragile. It stretches a bit but looks like it will stretch and snap. Not at all like your typical strap like this. The metal/chrome looking parts on the band. That is for looks. They're kind of a hollow piece of plastic with a painted finish. In time this will absolutely crack, chip, peel off. The band in these areas is super thin too. So that's a trouble area to look out for. All this being said, register your warranty and shark will take care of it. I assume with a new band. Now, the watch. It appears to be really sturdy and solid. This thing is big, not as big as others but bidder than many. If you're familiar with watches. It's about the same size as a full size G-shock. Much heavier though. It's seems that the watch will outlive a couple bands. This company sells the newer models for the $100 range. So it's not a cheap piece of junk. Idk if it's worth $100 but it's well worth $30. As a reminder, as mentioned in the description. This is not water proof in any way. It's fine for splashing and such. Just not for submersion. Kind of funny being a shark. If you need this feature, Shark does make water proof and water resistant models. So in closing, this is worth the $30 Amazon price.

This is my second of this type of watch. The first has a rubber band. Thus far it has been pretty durable. I wear it working in a kitchen for 9 hour shifts. Not a single problem. So I ordered another with a bit of a more classy band. The watch itself so far is every bit as durable as the other. The band however, while bad is a challenge. I have many watches and most of them have a stainless link band. It’s always pretty straight forward, with the right tools. This band while not a bad band it is tough to adjust. I broke 3 pins on my link removal tool. It’s as if it was designed to stay put. For skinny wrists that’s just not and option. Also the link connection points, without pins. Are actually hollow and do bend. So be really careful adjusting. Once that challenge was taken care of. It runs just as smooth as my other shark. So, by all means get a shark. On Amazon is cheaper than shark direct. So you really can’t beat it.

I saw where it said not to bathe with it, but the rating clearly shows water resistant to 30 Meters, so I emailed and asked. They answered and explained that it's not water resistant beyond ordinary splashing like hand washing. Would be four stars if this was correct, 5 if the band was a little bigger.The styling is very distinctive-this thing is big, thick and heavy, and it's chrome. Not nickel, not shiny, we're talking bumper on a 57 Bel-Aire shiny.Other than the water issue, I like it. Assuming it keeps time, it's a keeper.Edit: I managed to post a couple of photos showing how thick this thing is, so far the timekeeping seems fine. Also, because it's so thick, I don't seem to hit the buttons like I do other watches that are this big.It's also very easy to set and use.

First thing, this watch is pretty big. Being that I'm female, it looks even bigger and trust me when I say it's very eye-catching. Inmates and other Correctional Officers are constantly eyeballing it. Ohhhhhh, shiny. I bought it for a couple of reasons though. I wanted a watch that had dual time and showed the date/day and bam, here it is. I looked everywhere for a more feminine watch, but alas, I was unsuccessful. So, I've been wearing this watch now for a couple of months and haven't had any problems with it. It's a good watch at a decent price and is pretty sturdy. The only fault that I will say is not the watch, but the packaging. It didn't come with a little instruction manual, so setting it was mainly trial and error and then finally giving it to someone else to do. A website address came in the box, but it no longer has any content on it, so I am stuck with the alarm going off at 10am every morning. By the way, if you work night shift and are sleeping in the morning, the alarm will beep 26 times before it shuts off automatically.

Seriously, its big. I bought this because I am currently in need of a watch that has dual time zones, and it was painful to take off my Casio Pathfinder and put this on. With that said, this thing is literally TWICE the thickness of my Pathfinder, even though that watch has compass, barometer and altimeter functions (-1/2 star). The other 1/2 start I am taking off is for the ugly rubber watch band. It is a soft malleable rubber, that is very sticky and tends to yank out my arm hairs...Other than that I am pleasantly surprised by this watch so far. In the picture when you zoom in, you can see a few imperfections in the paint, which is common with a cheap watch, but my watch has none of these. I did read reviews before I bought it so I know better than to take it in water.

This watch just arrived today, and it looks great! I have a few Shark watches, and AS USUAL, NO INSTRUCTIONS at all!IF they would 'bother' with such things, well, another star or two, would be in order.So, for others, here is a link to the site for instructions on how to set the watch:[...]Well, it's 'set' ... seems to be working properly, looks to be fairly well made, and THANKS to others here who correctly advise ... the thing is NOT waterproof ... as in, no swimming, no showering, and the like.I hope it keeps ticking ... I like the looks, the easy read face-with the date, and day-of-week.SO FAR ... everything is 'on time' .... including the fast Amazon delivery.

Gorgeous watch. It does have a large face, but it is nice looking.Update. 7/18/2018 . Anolog portion died recenlty but the digital still works. The band is coming apart and the silver bullets are coming out. Just wore this for a dress watch on special occasions. Looks great but just doesn't last.
