Need to stops water from leaking in under doors?
Here in the PNW I have a steep sloped driveway drain issue which cause minor flooding of my garage. Budget costs do not allow replacing drains at this time. I have tried several styles of these water dams. The PIG has worked the best.TIPS ON USE: They only lasted 1 year but stopped 5 or 6 garage floods.o Make sure they are butted close together,o Overlap at the ends;o Do not step on them,o Not good for them to sit out in extended dry periods.o When going into rainy season I think it is a good idea to lay out and wet (so they expand) thoroughly to check for fit and leaks.Only wish they came in a 12' length!GOOD LUCK !

Great product - this really works!
I have a welled exit door that leads up from the basement to the backyard. During torrential rainstorms (we had back to back hurricanes a few years ago), I had seepage from the door leaking into the basement. Before I spend hundreds or thousands to fix the issue, the sandless sandbags are a perfect solution. Neatly fit them by the door, any excess water will not reach your basement. Excellent cost effective way to manage through the rainy season.

Didn’t work for me - but there was a reason
I purchase several different sizes of the Pig water barriers back in March just in case my pool flooded. I had the opportunity to use them during Hurricane Ian. They are a waste is time and money. They don’t expand much at all and in order to get any real benefit you would have to buy 10 or 15 of them and stack them. Filling sandbags with the county is free and it was the sandbags that kept the water out of the house - not these things. I will be returning ALL of the extra ones I bought in preparation for the next tropical storm.Update from 10/28/22: I changed my rating from 1 to 4 because the customer service responding to my review was great. I received a letter in the mail with apologies from an agent of the company. He told me that although it doesn’t say it on the website, the water barriers don’t really work with the chemicals in pool water which is why mine didn’t work. They gave me a gift card to cover my costs as well as some other options that might work better. I have not purchased any additional products but I might. My assumption is that they will update their description to include that it does not work with the chemicals that may be found in pool water.

Wow! This works great!
I decided to switch my patio doors from opening outside to opening inside so I could put up a screen and it has been leaky ever since. I didn’t realize this until Ian hit so when we got word Nicole was going to bring lots of the same I bought these in hope the trickle of water would not ruin our rug and use all of our towels like last time lol. And boy did it work! I was skeptical at first because they are so light and look like there is nothing in them but I put two in front of the doors and when I woke up they were swelled up and the floor around was dry as can be. They can hold prob double the amount that they took during this storm. I put some sand bags outside which helped maybe a little but this is what did the trick to keep our house dry. This is a more expensive option than sandbags (which are usually free from the county) but if you know beforehand that windy rains wreak havoc on your doors… just make the investment. I don’t know how they figured out such a cool and clean way to keep water out of your house but bravo. Also this does not work on pool water or ocean water just rain water.

Delivery in ONE DAY.Fast and easy way to divert water from runoff.
Very easy to set up next to deciduous plants, which are now protected from excess water runoff.Looks like these will last a long time.Easier than filling sandbags.Liked the way the first two pack inflated,so ordered three more.Delivery was faster than thought, good when there is days of rain.Thank you!

Seeping silicates dangerous for pets and a pain to clean.
This is my first time buying door dams from this particular brand. I would not recommend them for people who have pets or who care about a messy cleanup.I have used this type of product very successfully in the past. After the rain you let them dry out and put them away. No hassle. Mine have gotten worn and I needed to bolster my supply so I bought these. This version seems to be poorly made, allowing excessive product to seep out of the seams.Like not a little, but every seam. I have dogs and I can’t let them out until I can get the yard cleaned up by my shed, by the garage door, by the basement door, etc.I work so now either I will have to leave my dogs inside to soil and otherwise destroy my house since they can’t get outside, or I will have to pay for the dog walker to get them out or pay a dog daycare place to take them for the day. I am paying for these bags 3 times over. This is a huge headache. The other versions I have never seeped in this magnitude. Try a different one, don’t waste your funds on these.
