A little too warm
After catching an old cotton shirt on fire and having flames come up my side while grinding some metal on an angle grinder, I decided I needed a flame retardant shirt. I live in the south though and I'm also fairly hot natured, so I was hoping to find a light weight shirt that was also flame retardant for welding. I can't attest to how flame retardant this shirt is, but I can say it gets fairly warm while wearing. It's definitely cooler than catching on fire, but it's not something I can wear even in mild heat for any length of time. I do most of my projects in my unconditioned basement where it gets around 80 in the summer and even at that relatively low temp this shirt is just too heavy for me. It's also fairly stiff and scratchy, but that may improve after some washes.

Very good shirt. Plenty of room without looking baggy.
I am 5’-10” and weigh 200lbs, neck size in dress shirts is 16 to 16-1/2. I bought a large. The fit is perfect. Sleeve openings are plenty large with a medium size watch and are adjustable with snap closures. Sleeves extend to just above first thumb joint. There is plenty of room in the back even when extending arms and reaching overhead. The shirt is a little longer than normal so it stays tucked in when bending over.I did not rate durability because I have only worn 2x. Quality of stitching is very good. I expect this shirt to last and will be buying another one now that I have seen and worn this one.

good for light mig and great for tig and finishing work to guard against sparks.
It has been a week in the welding shop and not a thing to complain about. It is a bit large, normally weat a large but it is a bit big on me in large size but arms and shoulders fit perfectly doesn't come down when I reach up. it is alot more heat resistant than I thought which is a plus. Also stays cool

READ BEFORE BUYING
I’m 5’10” 195lbs with a muscular build. After my first time wearing after washing.. Generally a large fits me with no issues with room to grow even. I ordered a large and fit good in body but sleeves coulda been about 1-2” longer or a wider shoulder across the back. The shirts buttons are ok.. They can unbutton a little too easy. The fabric isn’t as soft as it is with other Flame retardant shirts I own like Carhart and is kinda stiff. I’m a welder and like to be comfortable obviously. I was hoping this shirt would work so I could buy more but I’m not sure I will order another. I will update the review if it softens up and isnt so stiff over time.. Overall a cool look with patch on shoulder. But needs a little longer sleeves to match the body which is kinda long itself. I’ve never had this issue with other shirts I own.

Well worth the price!
I bought my shirts for just under $30 and I think they are selling for the low $30's right now. Good, quality shirts. Easily worth $10 more.Metal buttons tend to bleed a little rust after 20 washes or so. Shirt FR rating is supposedly good for 50 washes if you follow the instructions.

Awesome shirt
Been wearing this shirt all summer while welding in my garage. Bought this to see if it was cooler than other welding jackets. The answer is "Yes" it is and I have found it's stood up to everything (sparks, Flames from cutting torch, metal shrapnel, etc.) so far. For the amateur or garage welder this works great and fits much better than any other welding jacket I have worn.

Excellent Quality for a Fire Resistant Shirt
Purchased this for a visit to an oil well site visit in SE Texas. This shirt is comfortable and a nice value for the price. I received compliments on this shirt and it keep me cool and safe during the site visit. I would purchase another one should the need arise.
