Peugeot - Kronos Manual Coffee Mill - Adjustable Grinder with 43 Settings - Stainless Steel, 50g Capacity

I have owned this two months now. I use it every morning for coffee. I was concerned about the reviews saying that is hard and awkward to hold. I would agree it might be a little awkward but it is not at all difficult. It is study and grind coffee very well. If you want a week built coffee grinder buy this.

I bought this from amazon uk. It has high quality steel burrs with plastic base. It’s a good “zero” retention hand coffee grinder for drip coffee. It has fairly fine adjustments to get correct grind. The ergonomics of design of hand crank and base is it’s only flaw. It’s quite difficult to turn handle for drip grind and somewhat difficult to hold base and keep it from spinning. Espresso grind would be almost impossible. But it’s doable for drip coffee and I use it every day. You get consistent grinds and it’s easy to adjust grind.

Consistent grind you don’t have to twiddle and readjust as with other grinders.Very easy to use.

Looks great and sleek, extremely simple to use with perfectly even grinds. So the only problem is it requires a lot of strength to hold this thing down when your grinding or your beans are going everywhere. I have to hold it in between my knees while grinding to keep it stable. So would I recommend this to a friend??? No.

It takes two people to grind a few beans for a small pot of coffee. One person to hold the base (with two hands no less) and the other person to crank the handle. Way too much effort is required to produce consistently ground coffee. Especially at this price!Shame on Peugeot!Stay away from this product!

Not user frendly.To hard to "grasp" while grinding, core just to big ( or say poor holding design) to hold, needing and e extra hand....!!But....grinds great...if u don't mind the not so easy to hold....😎My other slim works way easier....but not grinding as nice as this one 🙃

Grind primarily at level for pour over, no problems. Appreciate that for fine grinds, can take significant elbow grease.

It is very nice, great looking and it works. I bought instead of a Bialetti Perfetto Moka (MacinaCaffe) because it takes too much time and it was plastic and fragile and I broke it. The Peugeot Kronos is sturdy so far, and built with high-quality materials. But there is a drawback in operation, the Bialetti take very long time but it was easy to turn the handle, I got bored waiting to complete 2 cups measurement, but I did not get physically tired. The Kronos need strength to turn the handle in the Moka grind size. I guess that for Espresso, even more, it does have a thick rubber base so you have to position it on a table and grab it firmly and push it down because with every turn it will lift up easily. The plastic brown coffee recipient is slippery, if you want to grind without pushing it down in the table it will slip. I find myself that using a pair of kitchen rubber gloves helped a lot to keep it in place, but I would prefer a better design to hold on and keep the grip while holding it. This said, my grandma cannot use it because of this, it is just a heads up from my personal experience, overall the Kronos is great if you have a good grip and strong hands.

La qualité de moulinage st très bonne. Unique bémol, une ergonomie zéro. Dure de tenir en main avec les positions fines car le cylindre glisse en main... Une pognée était trop demander???

Nach mehreren Monaten, in denen ich diese Kaffemühle fast täglich verwendet habe, macht eine Rezension Sinn.Insgesamt macht die Kaffeemühle einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Hier scheint Peugeot sehr gute Arbeit geleistet zu haben.Mit der Mühle bin ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Es gibt allerdings Dinge, die man beachten sollte:- je feiner der Mahlgrad, desto schwieriger und mühsamer ist das Mahlen.- möchte man z.B. täglich Bohnen für einen türkischen Mokka mahlen, wird das sehr sehr anstrengend. Das kann ich definitiv nicht empfehlen.- das Mahlen für die Espresso-Kanne ist auch etwas anstrengend, wenn man das fast täglich macht.- viel angenehmer sind dagegen die gröberen Mahlvorgänge für z.B. klassische Kaffeemaschine, Handfilter, French Press und natürlich Cold Brew.Ich habe bisher hauptsächlich Bohnen für die Espresso-Kanne und den Handfilter gemahlen.Der Mahlvorgang für die Espresso-Kanne ist (wie oben auch erwähnt) grenzwärtig anstrengend. 1-2 Mal die Woche kann man das machen, aber täglich ist das zu mühsam.Der Mahlvorgang für den Handfilter ist dagegen viel entspannter und kaum anstrengend. Das kann ich auch für den täglichen Gebrauch weiterempfehlen. Für die Kaffemaschine dürfte das nur leicht anstrengender sein.Die Mahlvorgänge für French Press und Cold Brew dürften deutlich entspannter sein.Fazit:- empfehlenswert zum Mahlen für Kaffeemaschine, Handfilter, French Press oder Cold Brew- eingeschränkt empfehlenswert für die Espresso-Kanne- nicht empfehlenswert für Espresso-Maschine oder türkischen Mokka

1. El componente metálico del molinillo es genial, simple, efectivo, ágil, preciso.2. La ergonomía a la hora de sujetar la base para moler es simplemente inaceptable, obliga a sobrecargar el pulgar y es francamente incómodo. Se hubiese solucinado fácilmente con cualquier protuberancia o abrazadera para ejercer una fuerza en sentido contrario al molinillo sin tener que hacer tanta fuerza. Una pena.

Utilisation peu facile pour une femme. En reste fonctionne parfaitement. J’aime ce moulin. Réglage facile.

Den första kvarn jag köpte var bra, som tur eftersom det var en present till min son… sedan köpt en till mig. Den jag fick hade dålig passform. Det gick inte att låsa behållaren på kvarnen. Jag fick en nu av Amazon mycket snabbt, som tyvärr visade sig ha samma fel.Jag kommer nog att välja ett annat märke än Peugeot
