Minutes not Hours for Christmas Lights!
I'm an old guy with an artificial hip and don't want to spend hours on a ladder putting up and taking down Christmas lights on a tri-level house anymore. I purchased this Remote Control RGB (red blue green) Outdoor Laser projector, and the much less expensive two color Star Shower projector. Because of the cost I mounted them both using straps with quick release buckles cinched around the ground spikes ten feet up in fir trees about 25 feet from the front of the house so they wouldn't "walk away". Both projectors throw thousands of dots on the house, the yard, the driveway, the tall fir trees behind the house, the branches above the projectors, and with our "sunset" dark colored house as the canvas, the lights are bright enough to be seen along with the halogen pole yard light, LED icicle lights under the eves, and a wire nativity set lit with strings of LED and Incandescent lights. I do wish they were a bit brighter. Both projectors have the coverage to illuminate nearly the entire 40 feet of the front of the house however I do wish they were a bit brighter. The LedMall RGB projector is a superior build with weather-sealed all metal construction, the generously long cable with a weather-sealed transformer some distance from the projector so it has a standard outdoor 3 - pronged plug that doesn't take up uneeded space on a two receptacle outdoor outlet. And finally the remote with its options for RGB color options, twinkling, and a timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours on and then off over a 24 hour period are really nice. We use outdoor timers and the remote syncs to the projector within 10 seconds after power is applied by pressing a button so if I want to use some of the remote options, I have to power down/up to resync; not a big deal. But I am very pleased with this purchase and hope it holds up for a good long while.

5 out of 6 ain't bad
I bought 4 last year and loved them. This year I bought 2 more. The design has changed a bit. One is perfect, the other has a problematic mount. No matter what I do it won't hold in place. So I jerry rigged something to make it sort of work. 5 out of 6 ain't bad though. All of them have excellent lasers and can even be seen in daylight to a degree. Very bright at night.

Not as bright as other LED Mall Products but much more reliable
I bought this product, Motion Pattern Firefly 3 Models in 1 Continuous 18 Patterns LEDMALL RGB Outdoor Laser Garden and Christmas Lights with RF Remote Control and Security kit, and LEDMALL Full Spectrum Motion Star Effects 7 Color White Laser Christmas Lights, and White Laser Decorative Lights with Remote Control. This is the only product that I liked the way it looked (although I do wish it was as bright as the other models because it is hard to see from the street) and we have kept. This company has an issue with all of its products and remembering the settings when using their timer or an external timer. Every time it turns on it does the default settings and there is nothing you can do about it. If this device's laser was brighter so you could see it better it would get 5 stars even with the timer issues. If you are curious I have included reviews on the other ones we ordered so you can compare. I liked the movement in the other devices but this company has an issue with setting up the timer and it remembering the settings. In the 18 pattern one that was a deal breaker because some of the patterns were just too much for the holidays. The 7 color white laser we tried to use with this model (it looked really nice but it was never close to white) but then that model was malfunctioning after a week of use. The remote stopped working with the device (even though the light on the remote turned on) and the device itself stopped working. At first it wouldn't do motion which is why I bought/kept it but after I talked with the company they said that I needed a new transformer and remote. This device was so expensive I decided to return it and thank goodness I did. Right after I filled out the paperwork to return the device shut off on its own. It has major problems and not worth the $125 (with coupon) I paid.

It Was All I Expected
I have had mine about 1 week now and am very pleased so far. I was originally going to get the Star Shower until I read the reviews, then decided to go all out and pay quite a bit more for this one.I started out with it fairly close to my house but have added 2 twenty five foot electrical cords and now have it about 30-40 feet in front of my house and it lights up the whole house great. It looks especially good on my white garage door but also looks good on the brick.. We have noticed a lot of traffic that passes by, stops for a few seconds and looks before driving on.It is very heavy duty and weighs more than I thought it would. The stake and housing are all metal, no cheap plastic in it anywhere. Yes, I would buy it again and I do believe some of my friends will buy one after seeing mine. Although it was expensive, we probably already had close to that much tied up in other outdoor lights. And it is just so easy to put it up and get it going. Since I have a lot of shrubbery out away from my house, the light would shine on it and left the lower part of my house dark. So I took about a 3' long piece of 1" PVC pipe, drove it into the ground and placed the light stake inside the pipe. With the light raised it really shows up on my house well.
