These work great for protecting your eyes from intense germicidal UVC lamps I work closely with. No flash burns at all on my eyes.

The Edge brand is my favorite brand of safety glasses and I prefer to order them online rather than go to the nearest Menards to buy whatever they carry. I ordered the anti-reflective version of this and found that the coating is more reflective than “anti-reflective”. The point of anti-reflective coatings is to reduce the wavelengths of light that get reflected back into your eye, but the coating on these glasses appear to be more mirror-like and reflect ALL wavelengths of light. In other words, it’s the opposite of anti-reflective. It’s like looking into a two way mirror. BUT they look cool and have a good fit, and if they don’t look cool, then there’s no point.

Scratches too easy. Ruined first day.

I use these safety glasses for my everyday safety eyeware protection. I like this style + fit. For me I always wear a ballcap and my hat does not push down on them to pinch the ears or nose because they are narrow toward the ears. They are reflective also which is a shade dimmer but not bad at all for me being indoors. They also are good if you go outside for a brief time for some shades for the eyes for the sun. I'm in maintenance and go indoors & outdoors at my plant to work on things. I've worn these for 2yrs & untill I find something better these are my go to safety glasses. I always buy 2 and have an extra pair on hand as they scratch overtime like any other pair or break if drop. My plant does supply nice ones but I like these better for my personal sense of style! Why be like everyone else! Customize!
