Install went kind of smooth. I bench tested mine before installing. Instructions for the brake relay are missing in my booklet. There are 4 wires for relay. Blue 12volt and green/white stripe 12v.These 2 are connected if relay is triggered by the other 2 wires orange 48vneg, And Blue/white stripe 48vpos. My 48 volt cart I installed a voltage reducer in battery compartment 12 volts to power stereo etc. This 12v powers my light kit harness too. Not enough to trigger relay I guess. My reducer also only powers on with key switch on. To keep it simple i just jumped together the Blue wire and green/white stripe wire. And the brakes worked as designed. Some people were having issues with brakes. Hope this helps. My kit is working fine headlights, tail lights, turn signal, hazard, brakes and horn. The install is a little tedious but doable if you watch videos related to the precedent golf cart.

The lights look great, when finally installed. This is not a light kit to be installed by beginners. Through troubleshooting with the seller (great and easy to work with) and eventually, the maker of the product, I was able to install the light kit. The brake light kit wiring installation instructions are not complete - I would suggest immediately working with the maker (Performance Plus Carts). In the end, the seller was willing to work with me to ensure the lights were working properly - much appreciated!

Very easy to install, fairly easy instructions, although it was made easier by finding an instructional video. Looks good, fits nice!

This works great on our Club Car. The problem was that the break light didn’t work. Testing shows that it will work, but power was not getting to the switch. We took it to a golf cart mechanic and he said that we installed everything correctly, but this a common issue.

Lights are nice and bright! Everything works as expected. Plug and play. If your halfway knowledgeable this is a fairly easy task. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice set full light set. Club Car Precedent 2010.

The product itself is good. The brake lights are another story.. like many others are saying they don't work!! Tried several times to communicate with seller, only to get generic answers.. involved amazon and explained its already installed I can't return it whole.. amazon acts like it's a yoyo and you can just put it back into a box and ship it back. I spent several hours doing the install properly. I cant just return it. It's not that easy. All I ever wanted was a wiring diagram so I can fix it..I am an industrial electrician and the timer, relay, and overloads are not labeled for wiring .I've done alot of looking on internet and .ay have found a drawing but have not got back to tearing into it. For this reason I give it one star. I can not keep a 73 year old woman's gofcart torn down waiting on a return. Update. The switch was not changing state (stayed n/o) bought another switch from another seller.. then the timer would not time out when hooked up +/- and #3 to load. Bought another time from another seller. It currently works but there could of been alot better experience from seller as well as Amazon. Still do not recomend this kit since I have had no luck with the seller standing behind their product.

What you see in the pictures is not what you get. The brake light show a mechanical switch, but you will be sent a brake pad for the pedal. These are known to fail. Ad is misleading! Voltage reducer is required for 48 volt carts, this is 12v only. Will not purchase from them again. Been a golf cart dealer for 25 years, not my first rodeo.

The installation took a bit longer than expected. The harness is for a standard 4 seater, I have a 6 seater and had to cut and extend the harness to fit. The brake light are another story....
