BlazeBand Reflective Wristbands (Pair) - High Visibility Reflective Bands with 360 Degree Retro Reflective Strip - Fully Adjustable Elastic Reflective Safety Band for Wrist or Lower Arm Use

I buy a lot of things from Amazon every month. This was the first purchase that I have ever felt ripped off. Due to biking to work every morning in dark I thought these would be helpful. I purchased the wristbands and also a set of ankle bands. First off the wristbands are a very tight fit as I wear gloves to keep fingers from freezing. If I didn't wear the gloves the wristbands would be a more comfortable fit. It has been two months and they are coming apart. The elastic part(white rubber bands on inside) is stretched & hanging out. The yellow part on outside is also coming apart in long yellow shreds. This is also happening with the ankle bands.I was upset on how much these cost, but thought there was wasn't a price you can put on safety. These are way over priced & I feel completely ripped off.I've never given a review under 5stars until today. I wish Amazon wouldn't allow folks to give false reviews in exchange for free products. There was once a time you could rely on honest reviews. I hate that I have to write this review as I'm a very positive person and love to write positive reviews, but I feel that honesty is always the best choice. Let the truth be told this product is a complete rip off!

I was going to rate 3 stars due to the coating rubbing off, but after testing I was pleasantly surprised! I use these for inline skating (The armswing in skating takes the wrist back beyond the hips, so there's a bit of contact friction there. If you use them only for cycling, you shouldn't have a problem). The reflective coating seems to be rubbing off after a few weeks of daily use. However, when I actually tested visibility, (see photos) the wristbands are still quite visible at about 20 feet. (first photo shows the wristband below a bright cygolight hotshot rear light. second photo is against a white door).

Meh. After a couple months of use 5 days per week, I found that the Velcro will stick to the material on the band itself. This pulls out the stitching which I have to cut off every now and then. Additionally, the wrist bands are not long enough to fit over anything but a light jacket. If you're going to put these bands over winter jackets, you'll want to get the ankle bands.Still, reflective wristbands are a great choice for more side visibility and signaling to cars.

Excellent product, which insures visibility at a minimal price. I use this when I am working, which involves crossing streets in heavy traffic.

I have these and the similar ankle bands, and they are super bright and reflective!

Smaller than expected. Barely fits around my wrist. Too small for an adult male. Works well for my elementary school aged son.

Great bands for the wrist only. Too tight for your upper arm. But very bright and comfortable around the wrist.

They are great. I wear them each time I ride my scooter!
