She loves it!
Honestly, we told our daughter no about a million times about this doll house before we decided to surprise her with it on xmas. She absolutely loves it. This thing is EXTRA. It's wooden, and quite sturdy. It has real freaking lights outside, and inside, and there's a working snow machine (though she says it makes too much of a mess lol.)I honestly thought that the doll house would not be good quality, but it is. It didn't take long to put together, at all, maybe about an hour, and the directions were very straight forward.Get this for your kid. They are definitely going to love it.

Great Christmas gift
Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter. Fortunately I bought it for $110, not the original listed price of $220. I wasn’t going to pay that amount. She loves this chalet! Lots of little surprises to open. The ski lift is great and works well. The snow is terrible! It gets EVERYWHERE! It was a one and done thing. We let her use the snow on Christmas Day, 2 weeks later friends and family are still finding it in their cars, shoes, clothes. It’s under the fridge, the oven...just beware. However, she’s delighted with it without the snow and every little girl who has come to play has been equally impressed. The lights, light up beds, lamps etc which were included are really cute too. Lots of batteries used.

I’m about to move into this thing...
This thing is spectacularly beautiful. Much better quality than the actual dolls. I almost feel bad putting those plastic dolls in this house. It’s Extremely sturdy but I’m warning you now.... it’s also massive. Make sure you have the floor space for play time. The lights are beautiful and the snow lift is stunning. My husband said that he is hitting Home Depot tomorrow for some landscaping material because he says it’s all we need because he is about to move into this thing. Pack your snow gear and get ready to have your childhood wants fulfilled....it’s a seriously gorgeous and complete play set. Forget my kid, this might end up in my room. My rear end is still recovering from the hefty price tag but it’s well worth it......enjoy!

Get your toolbox out!
The house is very cute. The material however is not the best. It is very hard to build. Even had to make holes in it to be able to put some of the screws, so make sure you have a drill. Took almost 2 hours to build! It’s a bit expensive for the quality and requires batteries which are not included, so make sure to purchase some AAA batteries as well. My niece was super excited about which is what’s important!

Good construction, uses lots of batteries
=BATTERIES===Included: (12x) LR44, (3x) LR41Needed: (6x) AA, (3x) AAACan't wait for these overpriced dolls to stop being a trend. That being said, the house is well-constructed. Wooden pieces are sturdy, imagery doesn't peel or chip. It takes a while to put together, expect to spend around 2 hours. Instructions are largely image-based, very little guiding text. Like LEGO instructions. Only required tool is a Phillips-Head screwdriver.Comes with four large bags of "snow", You can technically reuse it if you want to bother. It's the same styrofoam-like fake snow that you find with most toys. Christmas-style lights are one long fiber that you route around the perimeter; there are no instructions for this so you try to replicate the look on the box and are left with about 18 inches of lights. I put them across the bottom, above the pool & ice rink. The ski lift is not automatic, it uses plastic gears similar to wind-up toys you find in fast food kids meals. It will descend slowly by itself, but you ascend it by hand (which is very loud, but my daughter didn't seem to care).Overall, it's a bit too expensive in my opinion, but if your kid is into these then it's worth it. You aren't going to have broken pieces or peeling decals like you'd encounter with more cheaply constructed houses.

“Best Christmas Present Ever,” said my six year old.
I purchased the Chalet for my six year old for Christmas. This has been the absolute best present she received. She stays entertained for hours on in and actually invited me to come and play. She has six baby lol surprise dolls and five of the tall ones. They all fit into the chalet with plenty of room. This toy really helps my daughter strengthen her imagination. This toy so far is perfect besides the cleanup from the snow, but it’s worth it seeing my child so happy. My 19 year old niece put it together about a week before Christmas and she said it was easy to assemble and it took her about an hour and forty-five minutes.

Worth the price for the kids entertainment.
My 5 and 7 year old love this ski chalet! I was impressed at how cute it was assembled. I was expecting a cheap yet over priced cardboard product but it seems sturdy. Comes with several lighted parts, a freezable skating rink, a pool and play snow (which we briefly used and are not getting styrofoam balls all over our house). I am very frugal but splurged on this and I'm glad I did because my kids absolutely love it!
