As soon as I received them I opened them up and put some brand new batteries on them. First one didn't turn on and the second one turned on just fine. When I tried to take out the batteries from the non working one to put in the ones from the one that did turn on, in case maybe the batteries were the problem (even though they were new). One of the batteries was super hot. I replaced the batteries and the same thing happened, one battery started getting hot almost instantly. I should've read the reviews. They're cheaply made as well. Buyer be ware.

When I took these out of the box, I was thrilled. They were exactly what I was looking for. I put the batteries in the first one, and it didn't light up. So I put those batteries in the second candle, and it lit up just fine. Well, I need two working candles, so I was removing the batteries from the one that did light up so I could repackage them, and they got so freakin' hot in the minute they were in the candle that the battery started to melt! They were literally too hot to hold. I was going to return them for a set that worked, but after that experience, I'll pass.

I wanted a few battery operated candles to scatter on our dining room table. I didn't want to spend a lot since this was for Halloween, so thought these would be perfect. Received them and they looked cute enough. While opening the battery doors, I noticed they were pretty cheaply made and flimsy. Once I put brand new batteries in, only one turned on. I replaced the batteries with another NEW set and they still did not work. Based on the reviews, I'm not the first person to have this happen to. For the price, it really isn't worth the hassle of sending back so guess I'll just keep them for effect.

I ordered a set of these candles and was really pleased with their appearance. However, after I installed the new batteries, only one works. Im no electrician, so even though I removed the bottom plastic, I made zero sense of the two little wires inside. They seemed secure to me. Idk. Since they were so cheap, I decided to order another set and not request a refund. I just received the second set and again - only one of the two works. Is this the standard or am I just that unlucky? Im so disappointed because I love the two that work - they flicker nicely and look great.

These are beautiful. I was so excited to set them out. Then....they just fall apart. I can't keep them working because the wires inside are too long for the candle and it shorts itself out. The bulb on top won't stay on and the candle won't stay inside the stand. I thought it might just be one faulty one, but unfortunately NO. I bought 2 sets and all 4 candles are the same. If you don't care that they will not work and you can't move them without them falling apart then this is your candle. Again, they are beautiful but I wanted function as well.

I wanted to really like this product. Unfortunately, one of the 2 lights does not work. I tried two sets of batteries, and it's still does not turn on. Unfortunately, it's a poor quality product.

There was no timer or remote control. The black sparkly only shows during the day and at night, All you see is the flame I was hoping it would’ve illuminated the base of the candle a little bit more.Still looks good during the day and the value for the money was fine.

One of the candles didn't work because a wire was broken. I managed to fix it, but I'm not happy about the fact that I received a broken product that I had to fix myself

Takes 2 AAA batteries each. I put in new brand batteries in one stick and turned it on and nothing, turned on & off, double checked the batteries, nothing, so I remove the batteries and one is stuck and so hot it burns my finger!So not safe, not worth the money, how ever little it is. I’m only keeping them because my son gave them to me as a Xmas gift and the only value it now holds to me.

It fell apart right out of the box. Cheaply made.
