Looks great. Feels a bit too much like slippery plastic.
I bought this tape to color-coordinate with the saddle on my Trek Emonda. The package came with two rolls of bar tape, two strips of finishing tape and two bar end plugs. The tape feels good. It has a faux-leather finish on one side and black foam on the other. Note that there isn't an adhesive on the tape so when you wrap it, you have to keep it taught. The tape was easy to install. I was able to pull it tight without risk of tearing. It does wrinkle as you wrap it around the bar so you have to keep an eye on that. There is enough tape to completely wrap my 40CM bars using the standard wrap-around-the-shifters approach. The finishing tape feels cheap and is brittle. I wasn't able to use it as when pulled tight, it discolored into a grey color. The end plugs are very nice but they are chromed and didn't fit the style of my bike. I ended up using finishing tape and bar plugs I had on hand.Installation and quality are good. From that perspective, you'll be happy with this tape. Now, the downside is the feel of the tape. I was hoping it'd have a matte sort of finish but it is shiny. It feels cheap when you grasp it and I fear it'll slippery when it gets wet from sweat or rain. From that perspective, I think the product could be better.

Digging the vintage brown!
I purchased 2 sets, Retro Brown and Natural Brown. They both look great paired with Brooks saddles on our blue Trek road bikes. Very happy with the look, finish, feel, and ease of installation. I would have been happy with maybe an extra couple inches of wrap for each bar since I was short just a hair, but not a huge deal. This could very well have been my error while installing. The wrap is slightly stretchy, but wont break easily during install like some I've used in the past.Since installing I've done RAGBRAI (7 days/468 miles) and Peddlers Jamboree (44 miles, 2 days) as well as light weekend riding. Its been rained on several times in heavy downpour while strapped to the roof for over 1500 miles, and it still looks brand new. I did take a dive once and the road scuffed it decently, but it never tore. Very impressed! The chrome caps are a little cheap, and one popped out. They dont have the same tension as the Bontrager caps. I just used my old caps and my wife is using my extras

Slippery when wet
I bought this tape in white, honestly wouldn't buy it in any other color because its not worth it. This tape has a coating on it that makes it slippery even when your hands are dry. BUT ... if you wear gloves like I do, you can make it work. Why make it work? Because that same coating keeps the tape clean, and like anyone who uses white bar tape knows, white tape gets dirty fast and is hard to keep clean. I've tried many, but this tape looks like it will stay white longer because of the finish. That same finish, tho, gives it an unappealing look; I hated it at first I thought it looked cheap. The bar end plugs it comes with are a joke, throw those away immediately and use something else. I like that the tape itself is unbranded. The tape has no adhesive strip so you can wrap and rewrap, as I did multiple times because it was mildly hard to wrap. In conclusion, if you want white bar tape, take a look. But beware its slick, and if you don't wear gloves I wouldn't bother with this tape. It's cheap, so you can replace more often, which I will do if it frays or starts to look ratty. Four long hot Miami rides in, it looks brand new.

Spend a little extra and get real handlebar tape
I wanted to like this tape, especially since Amazon quit stocking SRAM supercork as a (surprisingly cheap) addon item. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and the poor manufacturing quality shows on a number of fronts. First, The tape isn't properly beveled. I was a professional mechanic and have retaped hundreds of handlebars. While I wrapped the tape tight and the tape looks all right from a distance, it's impossible to wrap this tape around the curves of compact drop bars without getting a few kinks here and there. Second, the tape just feels cheap. The patent leather that it's made from neither grips particularly well nor does it provide any meaningful cushioning. Worse still, after having it on my bike for just two weeks the patent leather has begun to delaminate from the foam backing. Finally, the celeste blue color isn't really that beautiful Bianchi blue. It's hard to describe what color it is, but it's just ugly.

5 starts...you just have to...
Many reviewers of this tape complain about three issues. First, they complain the tape is not long enough. Second, they complain the tape is not malleable, which leads to folds and creases. Both issues can be easily mitigated by wrapping the bars tightly, keeping constant and even tension on the tape as you apply it. This does diminish the padded feel of the tape, but I would imagine this would be the case with most bar tapes. The third issue they complain about is the absence of adhesive. This might be a preference thing, but I thought it was easier to wrap the bars without the adhesive. It was easier to correct as I progressed rather then having to pull the tape back off the bar.

No complaints or issues
Pretty satisfied with this. This was my first time ever wrapping bars, and the lack of adhesive was wonderful, since I had to back up more than a few times to get it perfect. You just need to pull it really tight, and there are tons of videos online to help you. I haven't put many minutes on it so I can't say how it makes my wrists feel...but it's the look I was going for, so I'm pretty happy.

Inexpensive but not the greatest tape
First of all, just note that this tape does not have adhesive on the back. I wrap tape like this all the time without adhesive but keep in mind. It looks good after you install it but once you use it the coloring quickly starts to rub off and fade. It also doesn't have a lot of "stretch" so it will tend to wrinkle and crease rather than wrap smoothly around the handlebars. I would spend just a few more bucks for a better product.

Not too thick but long lasting!
Still looks new after alot of use! I bought gloves at the same time and they have more wear lol.Although the wrap is not very thick so you actually do need gloves to be confortable i find.

Good value for price
Good value for price and it does the job. I have a little problem securing it to the handlebar.

good tape
Right amount of tape for bike, didn't use plugs and needed electrical tape to finish but looks good. Hope it lasts.
