FINALLY - I have my earrings again! I have one pair of studs that I leave in all the time, so my diamonds from Kay Jewelers were ordered with screw backs to help keep them more secure. Except those darn backs spun off all the time and I had to replace several of them. After the last one went missing, my poor earrings have been sitting unused for years because I could never find the time to get back to the jewelry store. Kays had always been great about giving me free replacements, but I finally decided my time was worth ordering online and paying a few dollars to get them. I used digital calipers to measure my earrings (.035" diameter post), but it turns out nobody lists what size earrings their backs fit anyhow, so I took a gamble on these. When I first held them up to my earrings I was disappointed as the hole was TINY compared to my post. Thankfully I realized you have to press them on a bit, and the middle opens up to the perfect size. They fit snuggly, and screw on and off easily, but with enough tension that they do NOT move or unscrew on their own! I took off one star because they do seem a tad flimsy. One back twisted the first time I put it on the earring (although it hasn't twisted more and stays put just fine). However, now that I know they fit, I'll order more to have on hand. Definitely recommended!

I bought earrings on amazon from a retailer that no longer sells their earrings. They were very small threaded posts, and I lost one because they are so tiny, you can easily drop them. These posts were supposed to be a replacement, however the holes are too big. I will use them for my other earrings, as the white gold is excellent for not reacting and being very comfortable. Unfortunately, it is hard to buy things online because you never know if they will fit exactly. I'm off to the jewelry store to find a replacement back, I hope I can find one that fits the tiny posts and doesn't cost a fortune. I would recommend these replacement backs if you have earrings with a fairly big post. Good price for white gold.

I bought my daughter real diamonds from Kay Jewelers when she was as about three months old. The backs kept spinning off or spinning so tight they were cutting into her ears. I complained several times, and they replaced over a dozen backs and also sent them in for repair twice in case the threading was bad.They wanted me to convert the backs to the locking ones for $120.I had already spend $1200 on the earrings and was very upset she could barely wear them in fear they would fall out and get lost!I bought these backs and they are PERFECT.YES, they work with screw backs, as this is what I have for her. FINALLY she can wear them all day and night and they don't move!!!Thank you for saving me $120!

I had a pair of diamond earrings that I lost the back off of one of them.. I went to several jewelry stores and they all wanted an outrageous amount just for one backing. I saw these on Amazon at no way near the prices the stores quoted me ,so I ordered them and they worked just as good as the high priced ones. I love shopping at amazon.

I needed to find some replacement backs for a pair of earrings that I had lost the backs to. It was surprisingly difficult to find screw-on backs in the jewelry stores I went to, and I needed some specifically that were white gold. These arrived in great condition and worked exactly as advertised. In fact, they even stay on better than the original backs, which fell off after only a few uses. Definitely worth the purchase!

These didn’t keep my ear rings on like i had wanted,

I recently lost a diamond stud, and wanted to use tighter backs on another pair to ensure I didn't lose another one. I have used twist-off types before and thought this would be a great upgrade. Yes, they went on nice and tight. Great! But I could NOT get them off today!! I pulled, twisted, tugged, retwisted.... and they were both bent beyond repair by the time I finally got them off. Seems pretty cheap and flimsy. Not a good purchase.
