Sunshine Mills Crunchin Bones Barrel for Dogs, 30 Ounces Each (2 Pack)

Can't comment on the flavor or freshness but our dog loves them. Kind of pricey for what they are, though. We break them in half and they go twice as far.

I'm a repeat customer working through a fourth barrel of Crunchin' Bones. They are used to good effect as rewards when doing obedience training with a 70lb Doberman.They don't crumble or get soggy in your pocket. They're easy to snap in half. My dog takes a moment to get in a chew when rewarded with even a half of a Crunchin' Bone.If your dog is food motivated, this stuff is a godsend.Training a new behavior can require a lot of treats so it's a blessing to have a low calorie treat that's not simply inhaled by the dog and is easily transported in the trainer's pocket.On the negative side I'm not happy about the "probiotic" additive. When learning a new behavior the animal gets lavish praise and lots of treats. When simply working through already learned exercises the animal gets considerably fewer treats. It makes absolutely no sense to add a therapeutic to something like a treat where the dose varies wildly.I suspect, but have not proved, that frequent use of these treats have induced temporary diarrhea on occasion. I really would prefer that Sunshine Mills drop the probiotic components in a treat as useful and effective as Crunchin' Bones.

I Purchased these dog treats for my dog and he loves them you got two barrels in a box and their big barrels and they last quite a while. The dog crunch and bones are just the right size for a medium and large dogs and extra large breed as well I have you might say an extra large breed and he loves them I’m sure if you had a smaller breed dog you could break them in half but I’ve been buying these a long time and they are a favorite in my house !

these are great but they're no longer in stock. So now looking for something else and trying to tell the girls who are crying that their favorate treat is no longer around

I have been using crunchin bones for years. Low in calories and even better snapping them in two and getting a really low calorie treat. But they are now probably half the size. When you snap them in two the pieces are small and not much to bark at for a big dog. They still can be stuffed into the chew toys. And while they are light and fluffy like cheese puffs they don’t taste like them. Definitely treats for the dogs!!!

The product is a great treat fir my dog. He loves it and I don’t feel bad giving him a treat like this even while he is on a “diet”...lol. I am happy he likes the treat since I am limiting his intake of foods.

The media could not be loaded.  These I use for my three golden retrievers as treats for doing as they are told and they obey. They now know what to expect for their rewards.

I have old dogs which are small and don't have many teeth left. They love these.
