Meet expectations, feet were comfortable and dry
I bought these boots for a trip to NYC in January. I wore them everyday during the trip (walking at least 10 miles each day). My feet stayed completely dry and comfortable even on the very rainy days. Based on other reviews I bought 1/2 size bigger (normally size 7, bought 7.5). There were perfect with thick wool socks but slightly big if I wear regular socks. I did wear the boots several times prior to the trip to break them in. I walked 1-2 miles each day to break them in. My feet hurt slightly (on the heels) during the break in walks but no blisters. After a couple walks, they felt perfect and not longer hurt. Now they are so comfortable to wear. I think I am going to buy them in another color.

Comfortable for hours of walking in damp chilly conditions
I bought these for a trip to Seattle in early November, during which I knew we were not renting a car and would be doing a lot of walking. In anticipation of Seattle's famous wet climate, I added a layer of waterproofing to the boots before we left. I wore them for 3 days as well to help break them in. They were the only shoes I brought with me (besides my actual hiking boots) so they were worn every day/night for a week. They were stylish enough to go with pretty much everything, yet were comfortable from Day 1. I had no rubbing/blister issues at all. My feet were sore after some 15 hour days of sightseeing, but not due to the shoes! We had great (if chilly) weather for most of the trip so I didn't really get to test the waterproofing until the last two days, but for normal walking in drizzle/though some small puddles, my feet stayed completely dry. They also had good traction and were solid for walking (there were slippery damp leaves everywhere!) I love these boots and look forward to wearing them here in my hometown as we enter our own rainy season. Would highly recommend. (For reference, I'm a size 8-8 1/2 so I bought the half size to account for socks.)

Love these boots!
To say I have troubled feet is a gross understatement. From the first day I wore them it was a feeling of ahhh! I've worn them many times shopping, walking, and just in the house. They are also comfortable just around the house. When an opportunity came up to get a 2nd pair I grabbed them. Comfortable anything for my feet is so hard to find.Update: So far I've purchased 3 pairs of these Teva boots. 2 pairs I got a size 8, which is a 1/2 size up from my normal size and they are the most comfortable shoes I think I own. I love the toe box that accommodates my arthritic toes and the bunions etc. Then I bought one pair in 7.5 in black because they didn't have a size 8 and I really wanted a black pair. Big mistake. I've tried stretches and heat and every other trick offered online but they just are never going to be as comfortable as the size 8's. Who would have thought one little half size would make such a huge difference! I would recommend that if you have problem feet maybe order up 1/2 size and find the comfort that I found.

Another Winner
I have 2 other pairs of Tevas in another style but wanted to try something different. I learned from earlier reviews that I had read, to order up a half size, and that's what always works for me. I've never had pull-on booties before, and the first day they were a little tight and were pretty hard to pull on and off. But the second time I wore them they were much easier to get on and off, and so comfortable walking in them that I forgot they were brand new. I really like these a lot and may consider getting another color. My feet are narrow, but now I have bunions and still these fit just fine. I'd order up a whole size if I had wider feet though. I do recommend these, for comfort and quality.

Great Boot but Order Half Size Up
I took the advice of various reviewers and ordered a half size up and am glad i did. I wanted the extra space in the toe area and they would have been tight otherwise. Planned to add an arch support insole, but don't have enough space for that. But it appears that the boot's arch support is sufficient as is. They have a bit more of a "rubbery" look than I anticipated and the color isn't true black, more dark charcoal gray. But I like them. When I slipped them on, I used the hook of material at the heel to pull them on (which is what that's intended for), and it broke. It probably wasn't sewn in properly. I just cut the hooks off for a quick fix, no problem. I wore the boots in the rain today and they kept my feet dry. I plan to take with me to the UK soon. That'll be the true test to see if they are waterproof!

soft, comfy & easy enough on
Size 11, needless to say I have a large foot! Instep probably average to high, and I did have to sit down and tug to get the boot on, but not a huge tug, and they actually went on more easily than I thought they would. That dark insert is really stretchy elastic, which is cut to the specific size needed to get our foot in. Once on, it feels very soft inside, the lining is nice. The toe box is very slightly narrow on my left big toe becasue that is the slightly larger foot. All I need to do is use my BFF wood shoe stretchers I purchased here on Amazon, which works like a charm to loosen shoes and boots up before the first "wear." Very pleased overall and I say they are keepers. I must say here that I got mine for less than $40 "used" from Warehouse Deals, and I see why; one boot has a 1" ink swipe across the instep but I like them well enough that I will clean them and pray they come out ink-swipe free.

Good traction, surprisingly easy to get on but still need to size up a half size.
I bought these because they were similar to another pair of Tevas I have and those had great traction on snow and ice and seemed to be pretty waterproof. As expected these have great traction and the heal is low enough that they are fairly comfortable. I have another pair in pecan and I like the color of the redwood much better (but the pecan ones were cheaper so they are my knock around boots). Also, for some reason the redwood ones are a little wider than the pecans, which is nice (I'm still trying to stretch out the pecans). My biggest complaint about most Tevas is that it is really difficult to get your foot into them; as if the zipper doesn't come down far enough. I didn't know how well the elastic opening would work, but I have no problem getting my foot into these. However, I still needed to size up an half size (like I did for my other Tevas).

Great Boots
Always buy one size up from your normal shoe size when buying Teva boots/shoes. I love walking and hiking but over the years issues with my feet mean this can be painful. Teva boots help, and have enough room that i can remove Teva insoles and put in my own. Did a lot of walking on holiday recently and these boots held up fabulously. They look attractive but are also great if you walk alot - kept my ankle from turning and kept my feet comfortable. Easy to clean and hold up great in the rain.Although i would say if you can be patient save the boots into your basket and purchase when they are £40 or under.

Comfortable but slightly small
I have tricky feet and on the whole, these are very comfortable boots. My feet are narrow, I sized up and these are still a little tight in the toe. If you're between sizes, definitely consider sizing up and if you have wide feet, I would probably suggest you look at a different boot entirely.

Lovely boots
Gift and she loved them. Really unusual colour but good with any other colours.

Comfy...comfy
Very comfy as reviews had suggested. The 6 fits perfectly and I’m usually 5.5-6. Seem well made, haven’t tested the ‘waterproof’ yet!

Perfect boot for rural Ireland!!
Perfect boot for rural Ireland. I was struggling to find shoes that I could walk a fair distance (3 miles) on country roads and still appear stylish. These work perfect.
