Weight is between 30-35 lbs. Which is just as much as my daughter weights. Break levers are cheap, standard size levers, had to use minimal settings so that my daughter can reach it. Rear shock spring is made for 200lb+ riders, useless for kids. Overall this bike is not practical as a kids bike due to its weight, it is literally just as heavy as an adult extra large mountain bike.

I recently bought this bicycle for my daughter who is about to turn 7. Most of the sizing charts recommend that a 20" (wheel) bicycle is good for someone 48" taller and above. My daughter is 47" tall, and I though "eh, close enough". I really should have waited. Since her feet are unable to touch the ground, starting and stopping are very difficult for her. Luckily, she's growing pretty fast, so I think she'll get good enjoyment out of it very soon.Otherwise, I am pleased with this bicycle. One of the very few I could find that had gears and shocks that was in "girl" colors. The assembly was relatively straightforward, and was done in about 15 minutes. A lot of other review complain about the weight of the bicycle, but it doesn't seem problematic to me.Again, everything about the bike is great so far. I just caution to really make sure your child is 48" tall or above to be able to ride it comfortably.

The bike is easy to assemble. It's very sturdy. My daughter likes the bike. Would recommend this bike to others.

Very well-built bike. We bought three different brands for our kids for Christmas. This was by far the best one out of the bunch. We even got it for free because it was lost in mail for several weeks and missed Christmas. Though our daughter was disappointed it wasn't under the tree xmas morning, we still appreciate the company giving us a full refund even though it was not their fault it had been lost in the mail.

We are stuck with home school due to covid and my daughter bikes at every recess break. She wore out the Huffy we bought her in no time flat. This bike is much sturdier (at a $40 price difference) and will hold up during this long year. Would recommend.

This is my daughter’s first mountain type bike and it’s perfect! It’s a nice weight and is well made. Perfect size for her coming up from an 18” bike.
