7-Year-Old-Soon-to-be-8 loves it
My husband put this together pretty quickly. This is our son's favorite bike that he has owned of three in his life. He is 7 and will be 8 in 3 months. He loves the shock absorbers on the front and kick stand, and the gears change smoothly and easily. It also is a nice looking bike with the black, red, and blue colors. My son quickly grew comfortable riding this even though its tire size is 4" more than his previous bike. It did get a front tire leak in the first time three weeks, but that could be a fluke and not the maker's fault. I won't count that in my ratings because I think that could have happened on any bike.

Not a quality bike for the price.
Front wheel issues. Gear issues. The selector bar was bent after the first hour. Not a quality product.

This is a little kid's bike.
The description says it is for kids up to 5'6". Not even close. This is for grade school kids. The assembly is not complicated. But, the instructions are worthless. Whoever wrote them should be fired. Plus, you realize that it's not well built while assembling.

FACIL DE ARMAR Y MUY FUNCIONAL PARA LO QUE NECESITABAMOS
Mi hijo esta feliz con su bicicleta, es su primer bicicleta con cambios y le encanta como funciona.

Mongoose was once a great product. UPDATE 04/16/20
Missing a 10 cent part, small plastic piece. Small plastic cap is needed to protect the inside of the metal tube from moisture. Box was ripped. Sent email requesting part and I have heard nothing. I hate to send it back but I will because the 10 cent plastic piece is important to protect from moisture and rust.Update 3/25/20No reply after multiple emails returning over a 10 cent plastic partUpdate 4/16/20I received the complete front fork section in the mail today. Thank you

Its been 3 weeks and my son loves it. I was afraid about some review but no regrets
The bike works fine. He can easily change gears without too much knowledge on how it works. He is 7 years old. It can be easily adjusted and the assembly took me 20 mins. The hardest part to assemble was the front wheel because the Quick Release Skewer was not tight enough. I had to use pliers to tighten the nut. First time ever with a bike, normally I can do it with my bare hands but after that everything went well with the assembly

High Quality
This is a high-quality bike. I am not mechanical at all (seriously). It may have taken me 3 hours instead of the typical hour, but I assembled everything perfectly. The directions are very accurate and well-written! The 20” bike is perfect for my average 7-year-old (48 in tall and 54 lbs). I highly recommend this bike.
